Welcome[edit]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia!

Someone using this IP address, 189.49.32.128, made test edits on the page Little Rock, Arkansas which have been reverted or removed. If you did this, please use the sandbox for any other tests you may want to perform. If 189.49.32.128 is a shared IP address and you did not do this, you may wish to consider getting a username to avoid confusion with other editors and further irrelevant notices.

Here are a few good links for newcomers:

Here are some other hints and tips:

  • I recommend that you get a username. You do not have to log in to read or edit articles on Wikipedia, but creating an account is quick, free and non-intrusive, requires no personal information, and there are many benefits of having a username. (If you edit without a username, your IP address is used to identify you instead.)
  • When using talk pages, please sign your name at the end of your messages by typing four tildes (~~~~). This will automatically produce your username (or IP address) and the date.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, visit the Teahouse, our help forum for new users, or type {{helpme}} here on your talk page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Again, welcome! Carter (Tcr25) (talk) 19:44, 3 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Citations[edit]

Hello. I wanted to ask where are you getting the tornado information that you are adding to List of United States tornadoes from July to September 2022? One way that is very vital to tell editors and readers where you are finding that information is through citations. Information on Wikipedia needs citations as Wikipedia is an encyclopedia and not a place for original research. Can you please add a citation when you add information to the tornado list? September 2022[edit]

Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at Emma Berman, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Waxworker (talk) 20:10, 16 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

November 2022[edit]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize pages by deliberately introducing incorrect information, as you did at 2036 Summer Olympics, you may be blocked from editing. David Biddulph (talk) 18:19, 8 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, introducing hoaxes, such as Draft:MLB TV Argentina, is considered to be vandalism and is prohibited. If you are interested in how accurate Wikipedia is, a more constructive test method would be to try to find inaccurate statements that are already in Wikipedia—and then to correct them if possible. If you would like to make test edits, please use the sandbox. Under section G3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, the page has been nominated for deletion. Repeated vandalism may result in the loss of editing privileges.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
