If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did with this edit to Japanese in the Philippines. Wikipedia is not a collection of links nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links may include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. Philipnelson99 (talk) 21:32, 18 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit(s) you made to Japanese people, did not appear to be constructive and have been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use the sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. -- Wesoree (talk·contribs) 23:09, 15 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Problem

[edit]

Hello, I just edited the number of Japanese descendants in Peru but another user changes it to the ethnic self-identification number (customs and traditions) that was given in the 2017 Peruvian census and that has nothing to do with the original figure , stop changing a number of descendants with a number of cultural identity 190.42.86.62 (talk) 06:45, 14 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Japanese people and Japanese diaspora

[edit]

Hey. So you've continued to make non-constructive/disruptive edits to Japanese people and Japanese diaspora after JML1148 posted a helpful message on your talk page and several users including me made reverts with explanations. There is a 3 revert rule, I referenced it in my revert on Japanese people where you've been reverted by 3 users and made 5 of your own reverts in a 24 hr period. And it seems you're aware of it because your edit summary said "one more and your account falls along with your emotions." I encourage you to read JML1148's post and links again to familiarize yourself with Wikipedia and learn how to edit properly instead going against the Five Pillars by edit-warring and making it a personal issue. I'd rather solve the issue instead of reporting you on the Admin noticeboard for edit-warring. Thank you. Spagooder (talk) 04:08, 15 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
