May 2023[edit]

Hey; love the enthusiasm for adding entries to List of apple cultivars, especially since you're adding references. I wanted to pop in and say, if you can, merging your edits (i.e. doing one big edit to subheading B rather than lots of little spaced-out ones) is a bit more useful to other editors, as they can see all the changes done to one section all at once, rather than having to go through numerous separate edits. I'm also replacing the abbreviation 'syn.' in that article with the template {{aka}} at the minute, as it's semantically meaningful, so I'd appreciate if you'd join me in using it; it'd make your contributions even more valuable. Thank you for your hard work! Wikipedia needs people who focus heavily on improving specific articles like you, and it's much appreciated.—Ineffablebookkeeper (talk) ({{ping}} me!) 10:39, 10 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for all your apple edits. When you add references, please give more than just the book title or publisher. I’ve updated James Grieve (apple) to give more details for the new references. You may have a better reference for the JKI one – I’ve guessed which one you meant and may have the wrong one. --Northernhenge (talk) 20:06, 20 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
