- Turkish National Division should be separate. Those years there was an Istanbul league and Besiktas was champion 9 years in a row. Fenerhace joined Turkish National Division because they were not at the level of Besiktas. Even though the name has national in it, Turkish National Division was a lower level league the Istanbul regional league was stronger and was not accepted by most teams. Fenerbahce has 19 championships. On top of it 2010-11 championship is not accepted by international football federations. Fenerbahce was penalized for match fixin. "On 25 April 2012, Fenerbahçe withdrew its appeal filed with CAS on 1 September 2011.
