Information icon Hello, I'm Materialscientist. An edit that you recently made seemed to be a test and has been removed. If you want more practice editing, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks! Materialscientist (talk) 05:24, 13 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome, and thank you for your attempt to lighten up Wikipedia. However, this is an encyclopedia and the articles are intended to be serious, so please don't make joke edits as you did to Wauchope, New South Wales. Readers looking for accurate information will not find them amusing. If you'd like to experiment with editing, try the sandbox, where you are given a good deal of freedom in what you write. Thank you! Topher385 (talk) 16:41, 4 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Odysseus1479. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Wikipedia:Why Wikipedia cannot claim the earth is not flat have been undone because they did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think a mistake was made, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks.—Odysseus1479 23:19, 19 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Soccer/football naming conventions[edit]

Not counting a small number of changes that were immediately reverted, the last substantive edit to Wikipedia:Naming conventions (Football in Australia) was in November 2014. The naming conventions were established following long disputes that were settled with an RfC that was set up in February 2014 and conducted in March 2014.

The naming conventions page reflects what happened—it is not a magic page that can be edited to change history. The way to determine whether the conventions should be changed would be to first examine the previous discussions then start a new section at the talk page to determine whether a new RfC should be held. If doing that, please provide reasons with reliable sources to show why a change should occur. Johnuniq (talk) 07:31, 11 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to use disruptive, inappropriate or hard-to-read formatting, as you did at Tumbling Dice, you may be blocked from editing. There is a Wikipedia Manual of Style, and edits should not deliberately go against it without special reason. See WP:STYLEVAR. Binksternet (talk) 03:08, 24 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you remove or blank page content or templates from Wikipedia without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary, as you did at The Green Manalishi (With the Two Prong Crown). Information icon Please do not add commentary, your own point of view, or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to Max Chandler-Mather. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. Thank you. Kinu t/c 05:06, 14 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Vestrian24Bio. I noticed that you recently removed content from Sixteen Tons without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks.
