"Market police" category[edit]

Hi. You recently reverted the addition of the Category:Market police departments of the United States to Hunts Point Department of Public Safety, saying it was "unsourced". You also appeared to try and blank that category's page, using the same edit summary. Categories, and category content, don't require a source, so these are not constructive edits. I suspect, having reviewed your other edits, you actually object to the use of the word "police" in the category, as Hunts Point DPS would not be considered police officers in New York state law? I think this is made sufficiently clear by the article, and using the term "market police" to draw together this force with other, similar organisations across the world is perfectly sensible. In general terms, if you disagree with the addition or existence of a category, please do not try to "soft delete" it by removing all content - that is disruptive and unhelpful. ninety:one (reply on my talk) 11:55, 18 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Having further reviewed your edits, you really need to be more careful with your use of edit summaries. In this edit, you changed the length of a training course from twelve to ten weeks. Neither piece of information is sourced, but you used the edit summary "Removed un-sourced information." This is a misleading edit summary.
