Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited V Corps (United States), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Macedonia (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hello, I noticed that you recently removed or changed some content without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think this a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can post a message on the article's talk page at Talk:United States Army. Thank you. -Fnlayson (talk) 06:33, 16 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, 42d Miss Inf, and thank you for your contributions!

Some text in an article that you worked on First Battle of Collierville, appears to be directly copied from another Wikipedia article, 1st Battle of Collierville. Please take a minute to double-check that you've properly attributed the source text in your edit summary.

It's entirely possible that this bot made a mistake, so please feel free to remove this notice and the tag it placed on First Battle of Collierville at any time. MadmanBot (talk) 14:28, 19 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Redirected 1st Battle of Collierville to First Battle of Collierville. See Wikipedia:Redirect for help.
You might want to merge the content from "October 11" section of the article Battle of Collierville to your newly created article. utcursch | talk 20:41, 19 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Windom-Ford Post No. 343, The American Legion requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. DGG ( talk ) 05:13, 22 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. At least one of your recent edits, such as the edit you made to List of Governors of Arizona, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at the welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make some test edits, please use the sandbox for that. Thank you. Never change the date format of an article, especially when it goes against a common format used in a country and goes against the format of the rest of the article. See WP:DATERET.

Don't change material without a reference to back it up. Changing how to address a Governor to "His Excellency" (even on a Female Governor? not smart) had no references. "His Excellency" went out of style in the mid-1800's and is no longer used. Bgwhite (talk) 04:05, 29 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Input on article

[edit]

I'd be interested in your thoughts on the entry for George C. Weir. It seems notable enough to me, but it's been nominated for deletion and I would welcome your input. Thanks.--YHoshua (talk) 16:37, 29 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
