Copying within Wikipedia

[edit]

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Niha, Zahlé into Hosn Niha. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. Please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor, and if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, you should provide attribution for that also. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. DanCherek (talk) 22:51, 19 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Interwiki copying

[edit]

Hello. Next time you translate an article from a different Wikipedia like you did here [1], could you please leave a note identifying the Wikimedia source (such as an interlanguage link) and the page name as required by WP:TFOLWP. Instead of using the edit summary "translated from article in italian wikipedia" could you leave an edit summary like this? Content in this edit is translated from the existing Italian Wikipedia article at [[:it:Exact name of Italian article]]; see its history for attribution. You can also leave the template {{Translated page}} on the talk page to supplement copyright attribution. If you have anymore questions please feel free to reach out to me. — The4lines |||| (Talk) (Contributions) 18:47, 15 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation

[edit]

Hi..please don't add the identifying title unless there another one with the same name. For example, I'd added (governor) to Giacomo De Martino (governor) because there was another man named Giacomo De Martino. But there is no man named Lodovico Pollera, so it is better to name Lodovico Pollera (Governor) with the former name. Second, if you want to add "governor" as an identifying title, I think it's much better to write it in small, not capital like "Governor"!--Maher27777 (talk) 14:03, 30 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Camillo de Camillis, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Attorney and Roma. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Notice

The article Francesco Caroselli has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

WP:G5: Created by banned user Brunodam through recently confirmed sockpuppet 48ol. See current case page Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Brunodam or once archived Wikipedia:Sockpuppet_investigations/Brunodam/Archive. Other recent edits are by another Brunodam sock Ken93y (see same report).

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. Blocked as a sockpuppet

[edit]
Stop icon
You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for abusing multiple accounts as a sockpuppet of User:Brunodam per the evidence presented at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Brunodam. Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please review Wikipedia's guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Spicy (talk) 22:38, 9 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
