Welcome!
[edit]Hello! I noticed your contributions and wanted to welcome you to the Wikipedia community. I hope you like it here and decide to stay. You are welcome to edit anonymously; however, creating an account is free and has several benefits (for example, the ability to create pages, upload media and edit without one's IP address being visible to the public).
As you get started, you may find this short tutorial helpful:
Alternatively, the contributing to Wikipedia page covers the same topics.
If you have any questions, we have a friendly space where experienced editors can help you here:

Copying within Wikipedia requires attribution
[edit] Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Dhu al-Qarnayn into Historical reliability of the Quran. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution
. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. Please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor, and if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, you should provide attribution for that also. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. — Diannaa (talk) 16:20, 24 February 2022 (UTC)
Proxy thing
[edit]65.94.99.123 (block log • active blocks • global blocks • contribs • deleted contribs • filter log • creation log • change block settings • unblock • checkuser (log))
Request reason:
Caught by an open proxy block but this host or IP is not an open proxy. My IP address is 65.94.99.123. We sometimes use VPN to bypass blocked content in our country. Has nothing to do with Wikipedia. 65.94.99.123 (talk) 06:37, 5 March 2022 (UTC)
Decline reason:
It is not generally permitted to use a VPN to edit, as they can be used abusively. Using a VPN does not affect merely reading Wikipedia. If you would like to make edits with a VPN(to avoid government censorship), you must first obtain an account(you may request one at WP:ACC). Once you have an account, you may request an IP block exemption for it by following the instructions at WP:IPECPROXY to contact a checkuser to explain why you need to use a VPN. 331dot (talk) 09:58, 5 March 2022 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:
Caught by an open proxy block but this host or IP is not an open proxy. My IP address is 65.94.99.123. To clarify, we have NEVER used a VPN to edit Wikipedia. EVER. Some of my family members use VPN to bypass OTHER websites, not Wikipedia. 65.94.99.123 (talk) 16:05, 5 March 2022 (UTC)
Decline reason:
Wikipedia can still detect that a VPN is in operation even without editing. Again, please proceed as described above if you want to edit- there is no block here on this IP to remove. If you only read Wikipedia, you don't need to do anything. 331dot (talk) 17:14, 5 March 2022 (UTC)

This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
