Hello! I noticed your contributions and wanted to welcome you to the Wikipedia community. I hope you like it here and decide to stay. You are welcome to edit anonymously; however, creating an account is free and has several benefits (for example, the ability to create pages, upload media and edit without one's IP address being visible to the public).

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, discussion pages are meant to be a record of a discussion; deleting or editing legitimate comments, as you did at Talk:McGarry, Ontario, is considered bad practice, even if you meant well. Even making spelling and grammatical corrections in others' comments is generally frowned upon, as it tends to irritate the users whose comments you are correcting. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Meters (talk) 00:41, 25 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.
You are indefinitely blocked as user:Knowledge1253. You are not allowed to edit Wikipedia using any IP or account unless you get unblocked on that account. You've already been blocked twice for block evasion. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Meters (talkcontribs) 00:44, 25 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
And by "Wikipedia" I mean any Wikipedia page, including talk pages, since you previously claimed to misunderstand this point. You can request an unblock on your user talk page, using your named account. That is all. Meters (talk) 00:49, 25 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

What part of WP:BLOCKEVASION and the above threads do you not understand? You are not allowed to edit using any IP or named account unless you get your block removed. Stop editing. Hi, thanks for your message. I have checked the source and see it says "recognizing", so have reverted my edit, thanks for letting me know. However this means that the article is inconsistent - previously had "recognised" x 2, you changed the one in the lead to "recognized", but there is still "recognised" in the main article. You might want to have a look at this - I'll keep out of it as I'm not a speaker of Canadian English. Thanks. Tacyarg (talk) 05:43, 26 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
