April 2017[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm SummerPhDv2.0. I noticed that you made a change to an article, List of tomboys in fiction, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that you removed some content from DuckTales without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; I restored the removed content. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! Hello there. I have noticed your repeated attempts to add content to The Lion King 1½. You have continued to add this content to the article for several weeks despite it being removed every time, and I'm wondering if you don't fully understand why these edits have been removed, so I'd like to briefly explain why these contributions aren't fit to be in the article.

Firstly, you have been incredibly persistent in trying to re-add the cameos section detailing the Disney characters that appear at the end of the film- while I get that you feel like this section belongs in the article, it really isn't important enough to be included in something like a Wikipedia article- something like this is too trivial and doesn't add any important or essential information to the Wikipedia- I feel like the section is being added because people want to see it in the article, not because it actually belongs in it. Additionally, the section attracted a lot of vandalisers who added fake characters to the section, so the section really hurt the article more than it helped it.

Secondly, you have made numerous attempts to add a mention of Simba's original actor, Jonathan Taylor Thomas, in the voice cast section. While this is also understandable, it shouldn't be mentioned in the section you have kept adding it to- the voice cast section is about the voice cast of the film being talked about, and doesn't need to mention actors from other films- even from the movie's predecessors. Thus, Simba and Zazu's actors from the first movie don't need to be mentioned in the voice cast section. If anything, these details should be mentioned in the production section, because that's what would make the most sense, to be honest, however, if it is, then it should probably be put in with a citation citing a reliable source.

I should hope that this explanation will help you understand why I have continuously reverted your edits. If you disagree with my reasoning in doing so, you may feel free to explain your reasoning in the article's talk page, and I will be more than willing to discuss it with you there.

Thank you! :) TheDisneyGamer (talk) 14:39, 13 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
