[edit]Hello, I'm Doniago. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Tay Bridge disaster, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Please review WP:IPCV as well. DonIago (talk) 20:12, 9 May 2023 (UTC)
- Alright, thanks. I don't quite know how to include a citation; would a good one be a clip from the episode in question? 75.141.155.61 (talk) 18:18, 11 May 2023 (UTC)
- Hi IP, thanks for your thoughtful reply! I can help you in terms of creating a citation, but the source you find needs to be a secondary source. A clip from the episode would be insufficient, because you need to establish that the mention of the bridge within the episode attracted some level of notice (e.g. The New York Times mentioning it), not merely that the episode mentions the bridge. I honestly have doubts that such a source exists, but again, if you find one, I'm happy to help you in terms of properly inserting it into the article. Cheers! DonIago (talk) 18:40, 11 May 2023 (UTC)
- The only possible secondary source I can think of off the top of my head is a TvTropes page ._. 75.141.155.61 (talk) 18:46, 11 May 2023 (UTC)
- Unfortunately TVTropes isn't a reliable source. I think you're probably SOL here, but at least it's a pretty minor bit of info! DonIago (talk) 19:11, 11 May 2023 (UTC)
