Information icon Hello, I'm NinjaRobotPirate. I noticed that you recently removed content from Arav without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Combustion scientist category[edit]

Hi, I notice that you are the creator of the category Combustion scientists, back in April. I wonder if you might care to take a look at the discussion going on at Talk:John von Neumann#Should von Neuman be categorized as a combustion scientist? We could use some clarification about who you intended to be included. I personally think the category name should be taken with its natural meaning, to include scientists who have made significant contributions to the study of combustion, but a consensus seems to be developing in that discussion, that the category should be reserved for scientists who have some kind of explicit certification as a "combustion scientist." Needless to say, this would eliminate most of the scientists already in the category, since such a certification has not existed historically.

A clarification of your intentions for the category would be greatly appreciated. If you don't want to get involved directly in that discussion (which would be understandable), you could just reply here, or perhaps add some text to the category page itself, clarifying the criteria for inclusion. Thanks in advance! Eleuther (talk) 21:34, 27 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
