[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions, but in one of your recent edits to Hero (Enrique Iglesias song), it appears that you have added original research, which is against Wikipedia's policies. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. Thank you. CycloneYoris talk! 23:58, 14 May 2021 (UTC)
Unexplained edits
[edit]Hello. Please do not make a whole batch of unexplained edits and only give the explanation that you "restored the US Latin column", as you did here. You did far more than that—for example, modern discography standards give the certifying body's initialism instead of the country's for certifications (e.g. ARIA, not AUS), which you changed for no reason, and you added a certification for a country not on the page—the Polish chart is not present, so its certifications should not be. The US Latin column had previously been removed, presumably because its presence takes the columns in the singles table over 10, which is against discography practice and affects WP:ACCESSIBILITY.
Also, please do not cite Chartmasters as a source. It's not reliable per WP:BADCHARTSAVOID.
@Muhandes: Hey Muhandes, you might want to watchlist Enrique Iglesias discography in case this editor returns to make the unexplained edits (that I linked above) again, which messed with the certifications quite a bit. Ss112 11:39, 5 December 2022 (UTC)
- @Ss112: Thanks for the heads up. I noticed they also have a tendency to remove material without explanation. I am going to revert all their unexplained edits until they decide they are willing to communicate. Muhandes (talk) 18:26, 5 December 2022 (UTC)
