[edit]Please read WP:BLPPRIVACY - "The presumption in favor of privacy is strong in the case of family members of articles' subjects and other loosely involved, otherwise low-profile persons. The names of any immediate, former, or significant family members or any significant relationship of the subject of a BLP may be part of an article, if reliably sourced, subject to editorial discretion that such information is relevant to a reader's complete understanding of the subject. However, names of family members who are not also notable public figures must be removed from an article if they are not properly sourced." You may also be interested in WP:COI. Thanks. Your recent editing history at Danny Rapp shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See the bold, revert, discuss cycle for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Danny Rapp. - FlightTime (open channel) 23:34, 12 March 2020 (UTC)
Welcome ARealRapper!
I'm Ad Orientem, one of the other editors here, and I hope you decide to stay and help contribute to this amazing repository of knowledge.

There are many ways you can contribute to Wikipedia. Here are a few ideas:

To get some practice editing you can use a sandbox. You can create your own personal sandbox for use any time. It's perfect for working on bigger projects. Then for easy access in the future, you can put {{My sandbox}}
on your user page. By the way, seeing as you haven't created a user page yet, simply click here to start it.
Please remember to:
- Always sign your posts on talk pages. You can do this either by clicking on the button on the edit toolbar or by typing four tildes
~~~~
at the end of your post. This will automatically insert your signature, a link to your talk page, and a timestamp. - Leave descriptive edit summaries for your edits. Doing so helps other editors understand what changes you have made and why you made them.
Welcome and a quick FYI
[edit]Hi ARealRapper, welcome to Wikipedia. It appears that you have been editing a page about someone with whom you may have a connection. This represents a conflict of interest and we discourage that sort of editing. Please see WP:COI for more information. Additionally some of your edits do not appear to have been in conformity with the community's policies and guidelines. Those can be quite byzantine and intimidating for newer editors. For now I would strongly encourage you to use the article talk page to suggest any edits you would like to make. If there is an issue it can then be discussed. Please don't get discouraged by all of this. There is a learning curve here but it is not steep. You should also feel free to contribute to any articles dealing with subjects of interest to you, where you do not have a conflict of interest. Thanks for your contributions. If you have any questions or concerns feel free to drop me a line on my talk page. I am an administrator and my job is to help. Best regards... -Ad Orientem (talk) 00:23, 13 March 2020 (UTC) |
License tagging for File:RappDanielObituaryCourierPost.jpeg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:RappDanielObituaryCourierPost.jpeg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.
To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 14:30, 13 August 2020 (UTC)
