Your request on my talk page
[edit]Hi,
I understand your edits. But they are far from what is expected on wikipedia. That doesn't mean I'm discouraging your from editing. Not at all. You should be bold and continue your edits. But please know that all your edits need to be carefully sourced in accordance with WP:V and WP:OR.
Since you are new to wikipedia, I'm willing to help you edit the article bit by bit, in accordance with wiki policies.
I know what I have written above sounds a bit harsh, but I intend no ill feelings. I only wish to help you edit in a manner that is acceptable. Thanks.Bless sins 05:05, 2 August 2007 (UTC)
- I'll second that - there's not a lot wrong with your English. But making major changes is always a problem, since the "history" tab leading to "compare versions" doesn't deal with lots of changes very well (try it and see). That makes a blanket "undo" easier than trying to unpick what is valuable.
- For my part, I'd be more interested in a new article on Zionists and antisemitism than the existing Zionism and racism allegations. The latter has little in the way of references since it's largely opinion, and some might think it has no place in the encyclopaedia. Meanewhile, there is lots of good evidence that Zionists have set out to cause antisemitism, and have themselves physically attacked Jews. There is persuasive evidence that Zionists cynically abandoned many of their fellows to the Holocaust ("One cow in Palestine is worth all the Jews in Poland"). I'm not sure any of it is available in the encyclopaedia yet - which is astonishing, because to you and I, facts are probably what we'd like to have in here! There may be around 30 articles on Antisemitism in the encyclopaedia so far, about 40 on Zionism and about 3 on Zionists. Not all of them can possibly be either accurate or significant or even the smallest bit useful. Real editing is about creating pages that are. I see that Humus Sapiens has kindly suggested creating a draft version of the article. Clicking on[1] and then on "Yes" would be a good start, tell us when you're ready to have the English cleaned up and further good referenced examples added. Bless Sins is not an administrator but is knowledgable and productive as best I can tell from his page, have a look. PalestineRemembered 11:10, 2 August 2007 (UTC)
- Hi Aaronshavit. I can help you edit that article to make sure it complies with wiki policies. I know you tried you best to make sure it was in accordance with these policies, but as a new member you are not familiar with how they are applied. Anyways, we can proceed in one of two ways here: (1) we can start writing a draft (as Humus Sapiens suggested) on your talk, (2) we can proceed to edit Zionism and racism allegations small edits at a time. In either cases if we proceed in an orderly fashion, I'll help you make sure that your edits stay (and are not reverted).Bless sins 12:58, 2 August 2007 (UTC)
- Regarding the crocodile tears that "Zionists cynically abandoned many of their fellows to the Holocaust" - while Jewish partisans, Jewish Brigade, Special Interrogation Group and other Zionists fought the Nazis, the anti-Zionists pressured the British to shut the doors to the Jewish national home for Jewish refugees fleeing Nazi atrocities and the Palestinian leader Amin al-Husayni worked for Hitler and recruited Waffen SS. I see that PR & BS found a new meatpuppet. Sorry, I've assumed good faith towards you. ←Humus sapiens ну? 23:37, 2 August 2007 (UTC)
- I'm glad you've posted that, User:Aaronshavit will better understand why you tried to persuade him not to listen to User:Bless_sins. Naturally, your objections bore no relation whatsoever to what I posted. PalestineRemembered 08:05, 3 August 2007 (UTC)

Your request
[edit]First, I do not think User:Bless sins qualifies as a mentor. Second, I would suggest starting with a smaller changes than major rewrite. To explain & discuss them at talk page is a good idea. As you read & write more, you'll notice that your language improves (I did). To avoid your edits being reverted, practice on less contentious articles (unfortunately I did not). Another alternative is to start a /draft page and make changes there. If you have questions after getting familiar with policies and guidelines and WP:HELP doesn't help, write {{helpme}} on this page. Good luck and happy editing! ←Humus sapiens ну? 09:35, 2 August 2007 (UTC)
More material
[edit]I have dropped some material on "Israel and racism" into your page. It will need extensive work to be useable, but I hope it is helpful. PalestineRemembered 11:13, 15 August 2007 (UTC)
MfD Result Notice(s)
[edit]Hi,
The two MfDs on your user subpages have both been closed. The result in each case is keep. Best wishes, Xoloz 06:41, 24 August 2007 (UTC)
Don't be deterred
[edit]Don't know if you saw what I wrote earlier on the Jerusalem talk page, backing you up, but I deleted it because it seemed to perpetuate a sudden burst of conflict between a certain editor and me. Just wanted to write to you to say, don't be scared off by mean editors like her! LamaLoLeshLa (talk) 07:55, 15 July 2008 (UTC)

Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/User:Aaronshavit/Zionism and racism allegations and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of User:Aaronshavit/Zionism and racism allegations during the discussion but should not remove the miscellany for deletion template from the top of the page; such removal will not end the deletion discussion. - You've recreated that deleted article twice now. Don't do it again. Jayjg (talk) 00:42, 11 November 2008 (UTC)
- To add to the above, and for greater clarity, if you re-create that article in substantially the same form one more time, I will block you for an extended period. If you believe the conclusion of the MFD was in error, take it to deletion review. Sarcasticidealist (talk) 05:17, 18 November 2008 (UTC)
- First, a quick factual correction: I didn't delete any of your versions of this page; Jayjg deleted the two most recent ones. I've reviewed the contents, though, and I'm quite satisfied that the most recent version is similar enough to the version deleted at MFD that G4 clearly applies. Accordingly, I will not undelete the material. Again, if you believe a deletion decision - either the closure of the MFD or any of Jayjg's subsequent G4 deletions - is incorrect, the appropriate place to bring it up is WP:DRV. gaza lead
[edit]Hi Aaron, you have been adding Gaza Holocaust to the lead, but your sources are either not reliable or they do not call it the Gaza Holocaust, they on occasion say it is like the Holocaust or worse than it, but they never call it the Gaza Holocaust. Please do not continue to put this into the lead. Thanks, Nableezy (talk) 23:47, 8 March 2009 (UTC)
- I am Arab so I can read Arabic, and I read all the sources, they do not call it the Gaza Holocaust, they say like a holocaust, or worse than the Holocaust. The gazaholocaust.com is not a RS, this has been argued before already. Please do not continue making the same changes after being reverted without consensus. Thanks, Nableezy (talk) 00:13, 9 March 2009 (UTC)
- I didnt say they were all unreliable, the gazaholocaust.com one is. And I dont really give a shit what you think you know about Arabic, but lets break down your 'sources'. one of the aljazeera ones is an editorial, or 'analysis'. The Al-Riyadh source only uses the term in the title. The sharq-al-awsat source is also an editorial. Nowhere in the guardian source is the term 'gaza holocaust' to be found. Your other source is an Iranian source, and while this may come as a surprise to you, Iran is not in the Arab world. Do you understand yet? Do you understand you cant just put whatever you feel like into an article. That the lead was discussed rather thoroughly, and once you are reverted you should be going to the talk page to reach consensus for your edits? Is this clear or do I have to write slower? Nableezy (talk) 01:05, 9 March 2009 (UTC)
- Let me break it down for you, get consensus for disputed edits. you got it? Nableezy (talk) 01:30, 9 March 2009 (UTC)

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on User:Aaronshavit/Allegations of Zionism and racism, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where an article has substantially identical content to that of an article deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here.
