The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of S Srikanta, and it appears to include material copied directly from https://in.linkedin.com/pub/s-srikanta/20/8a7/597.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

Speedy deletion nomination of S Srikanta

[edit]

Hello Abhishekkaushal89,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged S Srikanta for deletion, because it seems to be copied from another source.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to rewrite it in your own words, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. MarkYabloko 09:28, 23 November 2015 (UTC) [reply]

Added strike to reflect removal of speedy deletion tag due to significant changes to it by the author. ---MarkYabloko 13:11, 23 November 2015 (UTC) [reply]

Speedy deletion tag Comment

[edit]

You CAN contest speedy deletion, but you CAN NOT remove the tags!
Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you removed a speedy deletion tag from a page you have created yourself. If you believe the page should not be deleted, you may contest the deletion by clicking on the button that says: Contest this speedy deletion which appears inside the speedy deletion notice. This will allow you to make your case on the article's talk page. Administrators will consider your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. MarkYabloko 11:10, 24 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
P.S.: That doesn't mean that you should add it, or re-add it again yourself! MarkYabloko 12:13, 24 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

In response to your message on my talk page, you ARE permitted to remove the Proposed deletion tag on S Srikanta yourself. While a page creator may not remove a Speedy deletion tag, he/she may remove a Proposed deletion tag at will. However, I would strongly suggest if you remove the tag, you state your reason for doing so in your edit summary for that edit. Thanks. Safiel (talk) 18:18, 24 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion pages, as you did with S Srikanta. Doing so won't stop the discussion from taking place. You are, however, welcome to comment about the proposed deletion on the appropriate page. Thank you. G. @GSS-1987: The author of an article can remove PRODs. You'll need to nominate the article at WP:AFD if you feel it should be deleted. --NeilN talk to me 20:25, 26 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you @NeilN:, Now i want to research a lil more about the subject as i dont want to hurt the article with my mistake but if i fail to find anything about the subject according to GNG sure i will go with WP:AFD. Regards G. Singh (talk) 20:32, 26 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
