Nova Scotia election results
[edit]Hi there, I don't know if you know this or not, but the results you are adding are the unofficial election night results. Elections Nova Scotia website states that the official counts were done and supposed to be posted on Friday, but there still not there, possibly because of the long weekend. It's up to you if you want to keep adding them, but you might be wasting your time as chances are the official results will change somewhat from election night. For example, look at Cole Harbour-Portland Valley where the official result was posted because of the close race. Election night[1], Official result[2]. There was a significant change there between the official and election night results. Cmr08 (talk) 01:44, 15 October 2013 (UTC)
- I just noticed that you're not actually adding the results, you're just finishing off what was left out by other editors who added them. Sorry, I had only seen the first couple of edits you made and thought I was helping by letting you know. Cmr08 (talk) 01:50, 15 October 2013 (UTC)
- Thanks for being alert! I was actually aware that the final results for most ridings are not out yet, but I wanted to practice in a non-invasive sort of way. Since some of the other provisional results had already been added, I figured it wasn't actively harmful. But it's always good to do things that won't have to be redone later :) Absintheparadox (talk) 01:56, 15 October 2013 (UTC)
- No problem, I just thought I would point it out to save you some time, since the official results are likely to be posted on Tuesday. If it's practice you are looking for, Wikipedia has sandbox which can be used for testing edits and such. It's a good way for new editors to get some experience with different types of edits.
