Speedy deletion nomination of Neurotronics Maschinenbau
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Neurotronics Maschinenbau, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which articles can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may be soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:
- It seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. (See section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.
- It appears to be about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), individual animal, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. (See section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Blocked
[edit]You should also read our conflict of interest guideline and be aware that promotional editing is not acceptable regardless of the username you choose.
If your username does not represent a group, organization or website, you may appeal this username block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}
below this notice.
You may simply create a new account, but you may prefer to change your username to one that complies with our username policy, so that your past contributions are associated with your new username. If you would prefer to change your username, you may appeal this username block by adding the text {{unblock-un|new username|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}
below this notice. Thank you. Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 05:29, 20 July 2014 (UTC)
- I've blocked you for a few reasons. The first is that your username comes across as promotional. There's a company by the same name and even if you are not part of that company, it still comes across as promotional when writing articles like the one at Neurotronics Maschinenbau. The other is that the article for Neurotronics Maschinenbau was very, very promotional in tone and promotional editing is not allowed on Wikipedia. You can still edit while having a conflict of interest and I'll post more about that below, but you should proceed with caution. If you are looking to get unblocked, I would recommend that you read over our guidelines for editing in general. Since you are looking to create an article about a company, please read over the following: WP:CORP, WP:RS, WP:NOTADVERTISING, WP:COI. That's just the basics and I'd personally recommend that rather than create an article in the mainspace, that you go through WP:AfC instead. That way if the article is lacking in some form or fashion, you can still work on improving it. I know it's not easy to create a neutral and well-sourced article when you're new to Wikipedia, so that's the best location for any potential further articles.
