Request reason:

With all due respect to the Wikipedia's dear administrators, I would like to request for an unblock of my account. I've been a Wikipedia editor for years now, and all of my contributions are voluntary and for the information of the public. You can visit my contributions and see those. I cleared vandalism on biographies like in Rebecca Ynares and Bong Revilla. I contributed in publishing real-time information and combating fake news in COVID-19 pandemic in the Philippines, since it is a very important topic. I also added my personal and researched knowledge in some articles, like Antolin Oreta, Rainbow's Sunset, and John Henry Osmeña. I contributed to many other pages, and was even commended by my co-editors for my contributions. And now, during this pandemic, I want to spend my time for something worthwhile, so I launched a social media group to help people see the information that they think the public should know. The first person to ask my help was a Nigerian, whom I don't know. I do not also know Olanrewaju Oladunjoye personally. As an award-winning journalist, I firmly believe in the concept of neutrality, so even it is the first article that I started on my own, I strived to achieve neutrality by finding every source that I can place and patterned the content to other existing articles (see Win Gatchalian, Dioceldo Sy, Joel Villanueva, Muhammadu Buhari, and Lenlen Oreta. I thoroughly checked my text to assure that it presents the subject with utmost fairness and impartiality. I believe that I do not have any conflict of interest with the subject. If there are any interests involved, it is probably my desire to contribute to Wikipedia and be promoted as an editor. It is the reason why I'm sad with this event. I tried to contribute for the betterment of Wikipedia, but I was blocked, unable to contribute my knowledge. Still, Dear Respectful Administrator, I am on your side in making Wikipedia a better place so I acknowledge my mistakes and I am reflecting, repenting, and rectifying it. Once again, I'm asking for your consideration about this matter. Thank You and God Bless! Aesyeo (talk) 11:03, 15 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

I find it hard to believe that this is article, on an otherwise non-notable Nigerian man, falls in the lap of a contributor who edits on Filipino topics by way of an undeclared Wikipedia support group they founded, and that this was thus done completely altruistically with only the best interest of Wikipedia at heart.
