Image tagging for Image:Ep 44 - Torrent of Terror.PNG[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Ep 44 - Torrent of Terror.PNG. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Orphaned non-free image (Image:Ep 44 - Torrent of Terror.PNG)[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Ep 44 - Torrent of Terror.PNG. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 18:34, 14 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

List of Zoey 101 episodes episode removal reason[edit]

Just to explain further and give some background. A lot of the Disney and Nick TV series episode lists have historically had fanish or made-up episode summaries added, or episode info sourced from casting call descriptions that a lot of time turn out to be incorrect after production is over. TV Rage is an example of such a source and that is why that source is blacklisted for use in Wiki. What I do when someone adds an episode description is look in TV Guide for that episode. If it is listed I verify the summary info in the wiki article and make sure the planned broadcast dates match. I'll check other places as well but trust TV Guide the most. If I can't verify the episode info that was added, I remove it and drop a message on the talk page of the editor that added it requesting information on where they got the information. If they have a good source that meets the WP:RS standards then it is OK to put it back but the reference is necessary for it to stay in the article.

It is not necessary for Wikipedia to be first with information. It is much more important that what we have is well referenced and verifiable. If I can't verify the episode information is correct, I don't trust it, mainly because of the large amount of truly bogus episode information that gets added. --NrDg 05:08, 3 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Image Copyright problem

Hi Aik Hui!
We thank you for uploading Image:Mark and Lola staying.png, but there is a problem. Your image is currently missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. Unless you can help by adding a copyright tag, it may be deleted by an Administrator. If you know this information, then we urge you to add a copyright tag to the image description page. We apologize for this, but all images must confirm to policy on Wikipedia.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks so much for your cooperation.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
