Event's headliners
[edit]Hey man, how are you? Just a suggestion: when main events are still in the works and nothing is confirmed, let's wait before redirecting the name of the articles. You never know with the UFC how those things end up and sometimes we'll have to redirect again because the original plans were not confirmed. Thanks Gsfelipe94 (talk) 15:36, 7 May 2016 (UTC)
- Ok. Why did you ask how I am? Alexander Gustafsson (talk) 17:28, 7 May 2016 (UTC)
- That's called being polite... Gsfelipe94 (talk) 19:14, 7 May 2016 (UTC)
- Alright. Just looked a little sarcastic is all. Alexander Gustafsson (talk) 20:47, 7 May 2016 (UTC)
- Hum... That problem goes back two years and it still happens. Please wait for official confirmations. I've seen a lot of name changes by you and I remember what you did with this year's London event, which was pretty weird to be honest. There's no need to rush. Gsfelipe94 (talk) 04:47, 25 February 2018 (UTC)
- Well I'm retiring from Wiki so if that helps you then cool. Good day Alexander Gustafsson (talk) 17:06, 28 February 2018 (UTC)
- I don't see why pointing something like that is wrong. It helps if you just do the right things. Why are you retiring? Gsfelipe94 (talk) 21:49, 28 February 2018 (UTC)

December 2017
[edit]Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at UFC 221. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been reverted.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant notice boards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continual disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. wikipedia is not WP:BALL - please read and familiar with this subject. CASSIOPEIA (talk) 13:06, 8 December 2017 (UTC)
- Editing MMA articles for 2 weeks and already giving experienced editors trouble on multiple occasions. Removing information that is relevant and sourced is just great for an article, isn't it? For a while it has been me, User:Gsfelipe94 and User:Ppt1973 editing MMA articles and building them with strong relevant information. We can sit back and let you do the work since you know all the policies. I'll take a break. No use in helping articles if you have to watch your back in case you get reverted by User: CASSIOPEIA. ✌️ Alexander Gustafsson (talk) 13:18, 8 December 2017 (UTC)
- I believe she's misunderstanding some of the policies and then her good faith edits some what exagerate. At least this one is pretty clear. Just keep reverting, assuming we know nothing about WP and does not create a talk page discusson about the issue. Also, her revert lacks a tremendous amount of information and she simply do not card. Only goes there to revert and leaves the page completely wrong. But I assume she will not change her modus operandi and we will have to waste time until no arguments can be used against the original article. Once again, I apreciate the edits, New editors are always welcome, but this recent situation is creating unnecessary issues here. Gsfelipe94 (talk) 13:30, 8 December 2017 (UTC)
- Gsfelipe94 dude User: CASSIOPEIA isn't trying to help at all. You hit the nail on the head with how she reverts edits and leaves pages wrong. She's also the first person ever to report my username as impersonation and fraud. It's just ridiculous. I've helped MMA articles for 2 and a half years and User: CASSIOPEIA is trying to report me. That's her way of trying to get back at our telling her what she's doing wrong. It truly is gross. Alexander Gustafsson (talk) 15:05, 8 December 2017 (UTC)
- Geez, I didn't know that... Gsfelipe94 (talk) 13:17, 9 December 2017 (UTC)
- Alexander Gustafsson, I have found out that WP:BALL prohibits speculation on the part of Wikipedia contributors, but it does not prohibit Wikipedia contributors from reporting on the speculation of reliable sources. So I am sorry of my misunderstanding of the definition of WP:BALL and apologies of the tagging. I apologies and I stand corrected.CASSIOPEIA (talk) 13:41, 9 December 2017 (UTC)
- CASSIOPEIA, it's fine, we all make mistakes. I want to ask why you are reporting my username? I'm not trying to impersonate anyone here. It's incredibly unrealistic to even think that a Swedish MMA fighter would spend time properly editing English Wikipedia articles with sources and all that. Perhaps my user page was wonky with the Gustafsson bio, so I removed it. I really don't see the problem here. I've never claimed that I actually am Alexander Gustafsson and I don't even edit articles related to Gustafsson. 2 and a half years of work and it's never been an issue until now. Alexander Gustafsson (talk) 15:25, 9 December 2017 (UTC
- all is good now.CASSIOPEIA (talk) 01:30, 10 December 2017 (UTC)
- I wouldn't be so sure about that, Cassiopeia. Can you please explain why you reported Alexander to UAA after the disagreement you got into. Looking through the contribution histories of the involved parties, as well as the revision histories of the pages involved, it seems really likely that you did so in a vain attempt to have an editor with whom you disagreed with banned, so you can continue on with your tendentious editing. Especially considering what a long-time contributor Alexander is to Wikipedia, it seems twice as odd that now of all times you decided to report them to UAA after having this disagreement, rather then before. If they did have a supposed "inappropriate username", don't you think this would have been raised, and resolved already? So what gives? Boomer VialHappy Holidays! • Contribs 02:34, 10 December 2017 (UTC)
- @Boomer Vial: under WP:IMPERSONATOR clause, as the name and the user page (deleted - see history) was same as Alexander Gustafsson. I did only raise to UAA only once and seek advice once, I went in a different route as what I was advice as the adviser might not know who Aleander Gustafsson is and how famous he is in the MMA today. As I am learning bout counter vandalism program in Wikipedia. Sometimes we interpret the policy might not be as per what it should be as just the above I interpreted Crystall ball in wiki. I used to think an unsourced new page should be deleted let alone get review as Wiki news would do yet Wikipedia operates in a different acceptable system as oppose to Wiki news. Just as Gsfelipe94 didnt know about it could use WP:REFTOOLS to cite source as he did manually and wonder why my citation looked diff then his and he didnt know that under WP:MMABIO and WP:MMATIER one of his article that fighters Nicco Montaño what not deem qualify as notable at the time, or User:Alexander Gustafsson performed a copyright violation by copy and paste the entire paragraph word by word on one of his edits which I have to informed them. I mentioned the above just to illustrate editors might not know or interpreter the Wikipedia as what it should. My apologies of raising the UAA for inaccurate interpretation where I have apologies to user Alexander. If you deem my explanation is not satisfactory and you need to act on certain punishment, then I have nothing to refute for the reason I started to edit in Wikipedia is to give back where Wikipedia has provided me the info for many years since I am have free time as I am taking a year off from work at the moment. Thank you.CASSIOPEIA (talk) 12:11, 10 December 2017 (UTC)

[edit]Can you please upload the poster for UFC 221: Rockhold vs Romero. I am not sure how to upload the poster under 'Fair Use licensing', and have tried uploading under another license. So, you can delete that one and upload a new one under the appropriate license. Thanks — Preceding unsigned comment added by 7leumas (talk • contribs) 07:53, 17 January 2018 (UTC)
