[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Eric Hodgins has been reverted.
Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove unwanted links and spam from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. The external links I reverted were matching the following regex rule(s): \bblog(?:cu|fa|harbor|mybrain|post|savy|spot|townhall)?\.com\b (links: http://dailyquoteforyou.blogspot.com/). If the external link you inserted or changed was to a blog, forum, free web hosting service, or similar site, then please check the information on the external site thoroughly. Note that such sites should probably not be linked to if they contain information that is in violation of the creator's copyright (see Linking to copyrighted works), or they are not written by a recognised, reliable source. Linking to sites that you are involved with is also strongly discouraged (see conflict of interest).
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 13:06, 1 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Your submission at Articles for creation: iversity (October 20)

[edit]
Thank you for your recent submission to Articles for Creation. Your article submission has been reviewed. Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. Please view your submission to see the comments left by the reviewer. You are welcome to edit the submission to address the issues raised, and resubmit if you feel they have been resolved.

Hi Alian! I work for the wikimedia foundation (wikipedia). We are working on a tool similar to the books tool that you used to create: 10_Interesting_Things_to_Read . Would you be willing to have a quick chat with me or answer a few questions via email about the feature? I am mostly curious to hear about your experience creating a book (what you were trying to do, whether it was easy/hard, and whether or not you felt it worked well). If you willing to talk a bit more, you can grab my email here. Thanks! Jkatz (WMF) (talk) 22:08, 9 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

About Your Edit to the Page Nergis Mavalvala

[edit]

Hi. I undid your edit to the page Nergis Mavalvala, on where she was born. All the written references state she was born in Karachi, not Lahore. The video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TBNWGet9fOo) you stated as a reference for her supposedly being born in Lahore is like 13 minutes long. Can you please tell me at what point she mentions her being born in Lahore? Because I did not hear it (I might have missed it though). Until then please let her birth place remain as Karachi, as all the other references state that as her birth place. Thanks. --113.203.180.120 (talk) 10:43, 21 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. I watched the exact period you said in the video. The host says "Karachi may paida hoon thi" or "was born in Karachi." So I'm not getting how you got she was born in Lahore? Your Lahore edit has been reverted once more. Either please get a reference that says she was born in Lahore, or please do not change her birth place again. The video and all the other references state she was born in Karachi. Thanks. --150.129.4.202 (talk) 04:59, 6 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Oh sorry my fault. I watched the other video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1vfceLjs3lU. OK. You're right. I re-added Lahore as her birth place.--150.129.4.202 (talk) 05:03, 6 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2019 election voter message

[edit]
Hello! Voting in the 2019 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 on Monday, 2 December 2019. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2019 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:05, 19 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
