List of long-distance motorcycle riders[edit]

I reverted your addition of two new rows with redlinks at List of long-distance motorcycle riders. Partly to assure high quality inclusion of entries on the list, the list needs to have links to existing articles on notable riders. You are welcome to write the article(s) as appropriate then add to the list. — Brianhe (talk) 22:53, 14 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, anybody home? You've added a redlink,again (Ben Krijger) — Brianhe (talk) 05:14, 11 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Ben Krijger may have broken the syntax by modifying 2 "{}"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:
  • colostate.edu/pdf/CSU-Mag-Winter-2013-www.pdf</ref> Traveling from [[Racine, Wisconsin]]<ref>{{cite news|title=Motorcycle Journey On The Open Road|url=http://www.prlog.org/12003509-bens-
  • The attempt was cut short, close to the [[Suriname]] border, due to a collision with a truck.<ref>{{cite news|title=Globetrotter Leaves Guyana|url=http://www.kaieteurnewsonline.com/2013/04/22/injured-

Wisconsin WIC Association[edit]

Hello. I appreciate your contributions to Wisconsin WIC Association and I'm glad to see you are still working on it. I'm sorry if the WP:COPYVIO template seemed harsh, but for legal reasons it's vital not to add copyrighted material, and the alternative is to have the article deleted. I've got a couple of pointers for you as you continue your edits:

You created an article at Wisconsin WIC Association (WWA) but it was exactly the same as Wisconsin WIC Association. This can get very confusing for everybody, so duplicate articles are forbidden. I renamed the article to have proper capitalization, but if you want do that yourself in the future, this article: Wikipedia:Moving a page explains how. Generally when we move an article, we create a Wikipedia:Redirect, so that both names lead to the same article. I've also done that for the articles.

While directly copying and pasting is not allowed in most cases, Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing is also something that should be avoided. This is very important: please take the time to write content in your own words. There are a couple of reasons for this. Close paraphrasing is still a potential cause of copyright violation. Also, if the article is basically the same as the organization's website, what's the point of having an article? Wikipedia articles should summarize the most important points, and not simply mirror the organizations website.

Finally, you might benefit from Help:Referencing for beginners which can guide you through some of the common pitfalls of referencing.

If you have any questions, you can post them here and I will see them, or on my talk page where I will see them even faster. Thanks again for all your hard work, Grayfell (talk) 23:34, 6 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
