Kingdom of tondo

[edit]

Hello Alternativity, i just asking how come that the tondo was "mislabed kingdom " because in the primary sources based on Ming-shu anals and Laguna Copperplate Inscrtiption (LCI) are the hers of Tundun are "Kings" not only mere cheiftains. so any explanations on that statement? thank you! Hi and thanks for asking. Since this specifically concerns the Kingdom of Tondo page, I hope you don't mind if I answer there. The link to that discussion is here: Talk:Kingdom_of_Tondo#On_.22Kingdom.22_as_a_Mis-labeling. Cheers! - Alternativity (talk) 03:55, 18 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Verrify-Lakan Timamanukum

[edit]

Hi Alternativity ! i like to ask something about, would you verify the existence of this Lakan Timamanukum as the unsourced info's says are

Lakan Timamanukum is the earliest known monarch of Kingdom of Tondo, also referred to as Tundo, Tundun, and Tundok. He ruled in the 12th century.

So, does this king / lakan was "really" existed on Tondo? or just a pesudo-king's again? if its real then we can add a source / references for this mythical king

PS: i already added a speedy delete tag to that article all we need is to verify , thanks! Palasulam-ang talk —Preceding undated comment added 04:34, 20 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks Palasulam-ang! I will have to go to the library and find references for this. At least one of my refernces gives this name or something similar, and associates him with either Pasig or Namayan, rather than Tondo... but very little other information. Let's see what I can dig up.- Alternativity (talk) 06:42, 20 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Tony Fabella, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Possible sockpuppet

[edit]

Maybe user:Pricedelink is, but I think user:Skyrim9 is also possibly another sockpuppet of JournalmanManila. His insistence on Philippines inclusion on Hindu-Buddhist articles such as Ramayana kind of reminiscence of what JournalmaManila would do. Gunkarta  talk  10:58, 31 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

it is one of the tallest Ferris wheel in our country i think it whould have it's own article, can you make it.

Hi 49.145.251.193! Unfortunately I'm not really an architecture expert but I'll certainly try to support you if you make the page. :D Maybe I can add to it once it's been created. Also, I strongly encourage you to create an account, as there are are many benefits to doing so. Thanks very much! - Alternativity (talk) 04:39, 2 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
aw its ok and thx for replying, plus I'm just curious about why we don't have an article yet about Philippine Eagle Centre, you and hariboneagle btw are intelligent on improving article related to our country.

Thanks! :D It's really a matter of specialization, actually. We tend to write about the things we understand closely, and have access to references for. In my case, that's a personal collection of books covering specific periods in Philippine history. I've been to Philippine Eagle Centre before and I'd love to make an article about it, but it's a bit out of my expertise (unless it was funded through foreign aid, which I know a few things about - but I haven't heard if it was so.) But maybe soon, especially if I find a book about the history of the centre which I can use as an academic refrence. - Alternativity (talk) 09:04, 2 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
