October 2023[edit]

Hello, I'm Materialscientist. I noticed that you made a change to an article, The Cabildo, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Materialscientist (talk) 22:52, 15 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that your username, "AmericaniaRockBand", may not meet Wikipedia's username policy because it suggests this is a group or shared account. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. As an alternative, you may ask for a change of username by completing the form at Special:GlobalRenameRequest, or you may simply create a new account for editing. Thank you. 331dot (talk) 15:20, 16 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Materialscientist: Hello, my user name is because i like the colombian rock band called Americania, and i put it because i liked the songs at that moment. Thank you, for everything.--AmericaniaRockBand (talk) 15:24, 16 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Materialscientist: I only listen to them sometimes, I used to listen to them a lot half a decade ago.--AmericaniaRockBand (talk) 15:27, 16 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I made the comment, not Materiascientist(who turned off pings and will not necessarily see your comments). This username makes it seem like you are the band itself. I would suggest changing your username to add "fan" to the name. 331dot (talk) 15:28, 16 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Help me to do it please, friend, and I hope they don't delete my edits because of that. thanks.--AmericaniaRockBand (talk) 15:31, 16 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I will create a new account. Thanks to both for help.--AmericaniaRockBand (talk) 15:32, 16 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
If you want to preserve your edit history, I can rename you instead. 331dot (talk) 15:33, 16 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks bro, but I already changed it, this is me, I will continue with these editions. Un saludo.--Fan of Americania (talk) 15:38, 16 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked as a sockpuppet[edit]

Wikipedia's technical logs indicate that this user account has been or may be used abusively as a sockpuppet of User:BrugesFR per the evidence presented at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/BrugesFR. It has been blocked indefinitely from editing to prevent abuse.

Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you should review the guide to appealing blocks, and then appeal your block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|Your reason here ~~~~}}. Note that anything you post in your unblock request will be public, so you may alternatively use the Unblock Ticket Request System to submit an appeal if it contains information that must be private.

Administrators: Checkusers have access to confidential system logs not accessible by the public or by administrators due to the Wikimedia Foundation's privacy policy. You must not loosen or remove this block, or issue an IP block exemption, without consulting with a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee. Administrators who undo checkuser blocks without permission from a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee may be summarily desysopped.
