Pharmacybrands[edit]

Please do not use Wikipedia to promote businesses. Wikipedia is not the "Yellow Pages". If you want to list a company for potential customers to find, please consider alternative outlets. Thank you. And if you want to add new encyclopedic content, please do so without disrupting or removing previous content. --Robert Keiden (talk) 23:33, 2 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Your addition has been removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material to Wikipedia without permission from the copyright holder. If you are the copyright holder, please read Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for more information on uploading your material to Wikipedia. For legal reasons, Wikipedia cannot accept copyrighted text, or images borrowed from other websites, or printed material without a verifiable license; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites or publications as a source of information, but not as a source of article content, such as sentences or images—you must write using your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 00:42, 4 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

If there is incorrect information in the article, then by all means correct it, but you can't replace it all with advertising copy lifted directly from the company's web page. ... discospinster talk 01:22, 4 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

There are two problems with pasting ad content from the company's web page as you did, Angerie. One is the that it could be copyrighted material copied without permission. You can't paste material from another site to Wikipedia unless you can confirm it's being used with their permission. Wikipedia:Non-free_content

The more serious problem is that purely advertising content is not allowed on Wikipedia at all. Please read this. Wikipedia:Business'_FAQ

If you want to update the Pharmacybrands page, you'll need to write up something else. You could begin with the old version of the site, and modify individual sections to bring them up to date, or write something from scratch that provides reference information appropriate for inclusion in an encyclopedia. Here are some examples of similar Wiki pages that may give you a better idea.

Re your message: The two messages left for you above cover the issues that were a problem with your edits. I strongly recommend that you read Wikipedia's Business' FAQ as it should answer the majority of your questions regarding your company's article. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 04:06, 4 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Re your message: You are welcome to expand upon the article as long as you follow the guidelines and policies set forth the in frequently asked questions. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 04:14, 4 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
