Culinary additions to articles

[edit]

Hello AnnaBritneyCeline, I removed some of your additions to plant articles, for example at Premna serratifolia, as such additions in Wikipedia should be supported by reliable sources. See WP:RS for more details. Also, Wikipedia is not really meant to be a how-to, for cooking or otherwise. So you might review the guidelines at WP:RECIPE also. A specific local dish (reliably sourced) would provide more useful content. Thanks, Declangi (talk) 00:39, 19 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Declangi: actually in relation to Premna serratifolia, I think {{cn}} would have been enough – stating a culinary use is quite normal for a plant, and there was no violation of WP:NOTHOW so fas as I could see. Peter coxhead (talk) 14:36, 19 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Peter coxhead: those additions are now restored, with citation needed. Declangi (talk) 06:16, 20 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
