Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Doboj, did not appear to be constructive and has been automatically reverted by ClueBot. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you believe there has been a mistake and would like to report a false positive, please report it here and then remove this warning from your talk page. If your edit was not vandalism, please feel free to make your edit again after reporting it. The following is the log entry regarding this warning: Doboj was changed by Antchy (u) (t) deleting 7736 characters on 2009-08-26T08:27:18+00:00 . Thank you. Editing advice

[edit]

It appears your recent edits have removed large amounts of content. If this was intentional, then I suggest you explain your reasoning either with an edit summary, or preferably on the article talk page. Also have a look at the 3 revert rule. PhilKnight (talk) 13:03, 28 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing in accordance with Wikipedia's blocking policy for repeated abuse of editing privileges. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest this block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} below, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first.

Unblocked

[edit]

Hi,

Following your email conversation with me, I have unblocked your account, as it appears that your edits were in good faith. However, My recommendations in the email (which I shall summarise below) stand.

1) Always put a summary of your edits in the Edit Summary box.

2) If you will be removing a lot of text, try not to do it all in one go; do a section at a time

3) But before you do go and remove the text, put a note on the discussion page before hand explaining what you will be doing, and why you are doing it.

4) If someone reverts your edits, drop them a note asking why they are reverting it. If it is because they disagree with you, try and encourage a discussion on the article’s talk page. Do not keep reverting their edits, even if you think they are wrong, or you will be blocked for edit warring.

Seeing the edit you made as User:86.33.46.93, I would suggest that you AVOID using the undo button, as people are seeing this as vandalism. Please make full use of the edit summary (see Help:Edit summary). As for adding sources, please see WP:SOURCE.

I will keep an eye on how you are getting on. If you have any questions, drop me a note on my talk page. As I am not always about, you might get a quicker response on the help desk page.

However, if your editing style carries on the way it did to start with, then it is highly likely you will be blocked again, and I don't think there will be a lot I will be able to do about it. Stephen! Coming... 15:57, 1 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

An additional suggestion is: rather than removing unreferenced text (if the references aren't valid), how about trying to find references that back up the text. Also, be aware that just because you cannot access the references, it doesn't mean that the references are invalid. There may be another reason for that. Stephen!
