Garuda Indonesia

[edit]

Hi there. I've made Garuda Indonesia this fortnight's feature collaboration as per you request. It is a good suggestion so i hope you can do your best. I will keep it as collab until Sunday week, or Sunday in two weeks depending how it goes.

Just a quick note - on the collab page I noticed you removed the nomination for a history article and put this Garuda nomination in place. That in theory is not really appropriate and please don't do it again. HOWEVER, it doesn't matter as Garuda is a great suggestion and I haven't had a chance to get the history collab going anyway. (Organising collabs has slipped a bit as the previous organiser User:Imoeng has recently 'retired' and I've been unofficially handed the duties but had exams etc. Normally we like to contact all the involved editors individually (20 or 30) but I am going away and probably can't do it til Tuesday).

So, you'll see some more effort from me on Tuesday - i hope. In the mean time, hope you can make a good start. Perhaps you can set up a to do list on the talk page. No fancy formatting necessary, just get the info in there. remember: Be Bold. :-) regards --Merbabu 23:30, 15 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

How did the collab go? Is there more that you can add? I might try and contact each project member individually and ask them to help. SHould I extend by another week?--Merbabu 08:37, 24 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Hi apex. I am sorry, it appears I didn't give you this message:
Hi Apex204! It's the last few days of the Garuda Indonesia collaboration. Please contribute!!!
Also, could you please vote for the next fortnight's collaboration? Please vote down the bottom of this page. The collab for the fortnight will be decided this Sunday 26th (or Monday at the latest). By the way, we could also chose Garuda Indonesia for another week.
So please visit and help choose the next article. Any questions/comments, please let me know. I'd love to hear from you particularly if you have any good suggestions! :-) --Merbabu 10:25, 24 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
So, everyone actually got notifed to work on Garuda. If you follow the link the consensus was for Majapahit Kingdom this fortnight and I should therefore change it (notice i did suggest they could vote Garuda again). Anyway, i am about to announce Majapahit collab and I will mention Garuda then. THere is nothing stopping people editing it now. regards --Merbabu 12:28, 27 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Football AID 19 November - 26 November

Proposed deletion of Robin Anderson (tennis)

[edit]

The article Robin Anderson (tennis) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Not notable for tennis. To WTA main draws, no FedCup. No minor league titles in $35,000+ tournaments either. Not ranked in the top 3 in jrs.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
