Adding images

[edit]

If you, yourself, took the photographs, the process is simple. If not. don't try. Basically, images belong to the photographer. Anything you find via online searches is forbidden. There are exceptions, but complicated. David notMD (talk) 13:17, 18 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Updating the Honeywell article

[edit]

Hello Apollogone I noticed you work on small edits on various articles. I have COI with the company and am working on updating a few small items on the page. Since I am familiar with the subject and I have COI, If I present the small edits and verifiable secondary sources, would you be open to collaborating? What are your thoughts on this?--Chefmikesf (talk) 22:20, 26 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Chefmikesf: What edits would you like made? Happy to help as long as the edits follow Wikipedia's guidelines.
Hello @Apollogone: I laid out some straight forward edits on the talk page. Can you take a look at the suggested edits and their references on #3.? --Chefmikesf (talk) 18:35, 30 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Chefmikesf: Sure I'll give it a go. They appear to be necessary updates to improve the article. But I have a question, I saw that the site, Vimeo, was used as a source, would it be considered as reliable?
@Apollogone: Yeah that's a great question. I added it as a supplementary, but I can do some more digging for a more reliable one. After I can add a third source for the statement. What are your thoughts?--Chefmikesf (talk) 19:21, 2 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Here are some more sources:[1][2][3]
@Chefmikesf: The sources look good to me...I can try to help improve the article with those suggested edits you laid out :)
@Apollogone: Thanks for adding the sentence about the Dow. What are your thoughts on the Corporate governance and Acquisitions additions?--Chefmikesf (talk) 15:11, 11 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

2.

Hi @Apollogone:, Thank you for the updates to the Honeywell article. I noticed one more important sentence missing. Would you mind adding this sentence as the last sentence of the 2015–present section?

One Sentence Addition

In September 2020, Honeywell and their predecessor AlliedSignal, celebrated their 100 year anniversary on the NYSE.[4][5]
