Welcome[edit]

Hello, Arthurprica, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of your edits have not conformed to Wikipedia's verifiability policy, and have been reverted. Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations that have been stated in print or on reputable websites or other forms of media. Always remember to provide a reliable source for quotations and for any material that is likely to be challenged, or it may be removed. Wikipedia also has a related policy against including original research in articles.

If you are stuck and looking for help, please see the guide for citing sources or come to the new contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}} on your user page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome!  RepublicanJacobiteThe'FortyFive' 12:50, 1 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The Godfather & Part II[edit]

The kind of changes you are making should be discussed first. You are a new editor and you need to slow down and take advice from more experienced editors. The current lede is the result of discussion and consensus. Do not make wholesale changes without discussion. ---RepublicanJacobiteThe'FortyFive' 13:53, 1 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

May 2010[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to The Godfather Part II, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and read the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Thank you. I have attempted to discuss this matter with you, I have cited good reasons not to add that information again and again, but you have not listened. Perhaps a more formal warning will get you to pay attention. RepublicanJacobiteThe'FortyFive' 14:00, 1 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did with this edit to the page The Godfather. Such edits constitute vandalism and are reverted. Please do not continue to make unconstructive edits to pages; use the sandbox for testing. Thank you. Spitfire19 (Talk) 14:20, 1 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not vandalize pages, as you did with this edit to The Godfather Part II. If you continue to do so, you will be blocked from editing. Spitfire19 (Talk) 14:22, 1 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding your message[edit]

I believe you have the potential to be a positive contributor. Read the links in the welcome message, study policy, and take heed of the advice (and warnings) given you by other, more experienced editors. Let me know if I can be of help. ---RepublicanJacobiteThe'FortyFive' 15:05, 1 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for File:L Death.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:L Death.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Slon02 (talk) 02:48, 20 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (File:L_as_he_appears_in_the_anime.jpg)[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:L_as_he_appears_in_the_anime.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Melesse (talk) 12:52, 23 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Gintoki Sakata[edit]

The Gintoki Sakata article was modified to go according to the Anime and manga mos and avoid fancruft with making sections for each of the character's traits. The article's content continues being the same, but repeated information (which was quite a lot), pointless details and speculations were removed.Tintor2 (talk) 11:29, 12 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
