Hello friends[edit]

I think I'm just a beginner in editing, so hope somebody will notice me and talk to me.

Photo requests[edit]

Hi Arthur, do you do photo requests? If so, would you be willing to take a picture of the Air China headquarters in Shunyi District? Thanks WhisperToMe (talk) 09:42, 27 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi again! Is the Beijing CBD convenient to where you are? WhisperToMe (talk) 18:53, 3 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry, Beijing CBD is not close to the place where I live, and I don't have a good camera to take clear photos, so basically I don't do any photo requests, but anyway, thank you for noticing me for such a long period of time. Latvian translation question[edit]

Does this image page say that the image is by Hafizs Osmans, or in the style of Hafizs Osmans? I'm wondering about the decorative border, and not necessarily the calligraphy. Thanks! Calliopejen1 (talk) 00:22, 16 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Well, in my opinion, as Hafizs Osmans (Latvian spelling of Hâfiz Osman, a 17th century Ottoman calligrapher) is a calligrapher, the calligraphy was made by him for sure. As for the decorative border, you can refer to the page Hilya for reference, because the wikipedia page of the artist Hâfiz Osman said he is credited with establishing the hilye. (alternative spelling of Hilya) The image page just expressed that he started the calligraphy style, with no other useful information.
