A tag has been placed on User:Asamaci requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://asamaci.org.ar/asociados/. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia and copyright[edit]

Hello Asamaci, and welcome to Wikipedia. Your additions to User:Asamaci have been removed in whole or in part, as they appear to have added copyrighted content without evidence that the source material is in the public domain or has been released by its owner or legal agent under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and cite the source using an inline citation. If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a legally designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. Rather, the release of content must be irrevocable, to the world, into the public domain (PD) or under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. Contested deletion[edit]

This page should not be speedy deleted as an unambiguous copyright infringement, because it is the description of a scientific society similar in spirit to SIAM.org (based in USA) and to UMA (https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Uni%C3%B3n_Matem%C3%A1tica_Argentina). I am now the president of this 200-researcher society and I think that it should appear in wikipedia as the other two (and many other societies) are present. --Asamaci (talk) 22:59, 20 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Please see WP:CORP and WP:42. All content on Wikipedia must be WP:free content. COntent copyrighted elsewhere is unsuitable.

User:Asamaci has been deleted

Hello, Asamaci. Thank you for helping to build Wikipedia, the world's largest free content enycloppedia.. I'm sorry, but User:Asamaci has been deleted as meeting WP:CSD#G12. Wikipedia is the world's largest free content encyclopedia. As such, it cannot contain content copyrighted elsewhere. Such content must be removed immediately and completely rewritten and reformatted from scratch. Content published elsewhere copied into Wikipedia must state that it is public domain, licensed under the GFDL, or a creative commons license. That's the simple version. WP:copyright is a vastly complex issue, but if you keep to what I've written you are unlikely to run afoul.

Wikipedia cannot accept material copied from elsewhere, unless it explicitly and verifiably has been released to the world under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license or into the public domain and is written in an acceptable tone—this includes material that you own the copyright to. You should attribute content to outside sources, using citations, but copying and pasting or closely paraphrasing sources is not acceptable.

Content copied and pasted from a subject's web page is generally unhelpful. It is generally written in a promotional tone and is not independent of the subject. All content must be cited from reliable sources that are unconnected with the subject and have a reputation for fact checking. Cheers, and happy editing.

There have been two problems with this account: the account has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia, and your username indicates that the account represents a business or other organisation or group or a web site, which is also against policy, as an account must be for just one person. Because of those problems, the account has been blocked indefinitely from editing. Additionally, if you receive, or expect to receive, compensation for your contributions to Wikipedia, you must disclose who is paying you to edit.
