Speedy deletion nomination of SMC532
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on SMC532 requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. [edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but in this recent edit you removed a speedy deletion tag from SMC532, a page you have created yourself. If you believe the page should not be deleted, you may contest the deletion by clicking on the button that says: Contest this speedy deletion and appears inside the speedy deletion notice. This will allow you to make your case on the page's talk page. Administrators will consider your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. Speedy deletion nomination of SMC532
[edit]Hello Aulyp,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged SMC532 for deletion, because it seems to be promotional, rather than an encyclopedia article.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. WMartin74 (talk) 09:51, 6 January 2015 (UTC)

A tag has been placed on SMC532, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
This account is neither directly blocked nor autoblocked. It may be that you are affected by an IP block, in which case you will need to tell us what IP address is blocked, as otherwise we have no way of finding the block. Look at the message you receive when you try to edit, and see what it says about requesting an unblock. If it is an IP address, it should tell you what IP address, and probably give you instructions on how to request an IP unblock. If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
- This account does not appear to be blocked and never has been. I think you'll need to quote the actual message you get when you try to edit so an admin will know what's happening. Squinge (talk) 14:07, 19 January 2015 (UTC)

- Aulyp, you have asked for help on Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/SMC532 in order to create a valid article about this topic. The problem is that, in order to create a valid Wikipedia on any topic, we require reliable sources on which to base the article. Reliable sources are third parties (i.e. not the manufacturer of the device) who have written extensively about the device in published media, preferably media (such as large journals or trade magazines) that have an established editorial review process so that we can trust that the material they publish is likely correct. (Blogs are not reliable in this sense because we don't really have the faith that the blogger is doing any significant fact-checking.) Because there are no available third-party sources discussing the SMC532 (i.e. it is not a notable product), we can't create a valid Wikipedia article about it. That doesn't mean it's a bad product, it just means that not everything ever invented gets to have a Wikipedia article. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 11:53, 23 January 2015 (UTC)
