Agreed. We edit conflicted on that. There is no way we should be replacing a ref that actually gives the definitions when that is what we are discussing. Meters (talk) 06:18, 3 December 2020 (UTC)

Yeah, that's not the first time he replaced that reference. Have a nice day :) B732 (talk) 06:26, 3 December 2020 (UTC)
Gave him a final warning after he started spamming it into a different article. Meters (talk) 06:43, 3 December 2020 (UTC)

Flushing Ohio

Why did you just remove my great uncle from the list of notable residents? Denisjackowski (talk) 18:11, 4 December 2020 (UTC)

You need to back up the information that you added from reliable source(s). See Wikipedia:Reliable sources. B732 (talk) 18:13, 4 December 2020 (UTC)

Flushing Ohio

Why do you keep removing my edit to the notable people section. Did you know my great uncle Jim? Have you ever been to Flushing Oh? Denisjackowski (talk) 18:32, 4 December 2020 (UTC)

@Denisjackowski:, please see my reply above (and read the article linked). B732 (talk) 18:35, 4 December 2020 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Matsari, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Maithili. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Hello B732, please explain. Why did you delete the page San Rafael, (Galeana, Nuevo León)? Well, it is not correct, I added another page of the Refugio de los Ibarra, but please do not do the same to me. Thanks and best regards Sergio de Jesús Muñoz Lara (talk) 13:16 22 Dec 2020 (UTC)

Jelsayed

Dear Sir/Mme i am Jamil SAYYED a public figure in Lebanon, ex Major General, actual MP at the Lebanese Parliament. Since i am the person concerned by This Wikipedia page, i noticed that some information in this page are incomplete or inaccurate or not enough credible... For the sake of the fidelity of the content, i edited the real facts and details related to me since all of it is documented either thru my military record, or in the national archives, or in the open media & newspapers or from the official decisions and reports coming from the Special Tribunal For Lebanon and The UN High Commission for Human Rights or The official reports of the US Department of State on arbitrary detention, all of these documents are being cited as references in my last editing. Saying this, i wish you to confirm my last editing and publish it on my Wikipedia Page, Thank you and Best Regards, JS

I edited the Outback Steakhouse page because the GM told me and my crew (LGBTQ) that the restaurant was now officially the restaurant of our group. I'll fix it now, no need for you to have to do it. Message from Nicholas lannix

Well. I have just being going through most of your edits and following them keenly. And o got so many unanswered queries. (@lannix) Nicholas lannix (talk) 15:45, 23 January 2021 (UTC)

Hi, a lot of my edits recently are via a program called Huggle, which assists in reverting vandalism of various pages as people make bad-faith edits. B732 (talk) 06:32, 24 January 2021 (UTC)

Promising Young Woman Edits

Hello, I'm B732. I noticed that in this edit to Promising Young Woman, you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. B732 (talk) 05:18, 31 January 2021 (UTC)

Hi B732, yes I recently removed some of the critics circles from the Promising Young Woman awards page, which I've been regularly updating since critics circles started nominating it. I made sure to copy all of those sections before I deleted them, and I'm going to add them back after I send this message. I've just noticed that the awards section of the page has been getting quite long, and I think we should consider making a separate Promising Young Woman accolades page. It's just that normally when there is an awards table for a movie, it is often limited to the award associations that have pages of their own, and I think that if a film has been showing up at as many associations as PYW has, the awards associations that don't have pages of their own should only be added if the film has a separate accolades page. So I decided to remove some of the award associations that don't have pages (the Columbus, Denver and Kansas film critics associations). But I'm going to add them back, and maybe try and arrange making a separate accolades page. Sorry for not communicating, but I haven't really interated with any other user before. Hopefully this is okay, thanks, -- ̃ ̃ ̃ ̃ — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jaymo1905 (talkcontribs) 05:52, 31 January 2021 (UTC)

@Jaymo1905: Sounds good to me, thanks for the explanation! I didn't notice your previous edits to the same article; hence I reverted as unexplained content removal. Thanks for the message and have a good day :) B732 (talk) 15:22, 31 January 2021 (UTC)

Citing self as a source?

How does one cite oneself as a source when the source is emails they had or conversations with someone? LouisDesyjr (talk) 04:17, 28 January 2024 (UTC)

Hi LouisDesyjr, thanks for your message. I'm not sure whether my explanation on WP:OR would be clear enough, so I'm requesting for someone else to take a look as well.
Note to helper: this is the relevant reverted edit. B732 (talk) 04:32, 28 January 2024 (UTC)
Sometimes a thing can be true, but cannot be added to Wikipedia because there is no published source to attest to it. We often see "private communication" or similar citations in journal articles, but that kind of citation is not allowed on Wikipedia.
Second, you should not be citing anything for which you yourself are the author. — jmcgnh(talk) (contribs) 05:19, 28 January 2024 (UTC)
Thank you jmcgnh. @LouisDesyjr: please see above. B732 (talk) 17:39, 28 January 2024 (UTC)

Vandalism on Hurricanes Poua page

Hi B732 (talk), just like you, I've now had to revert several edits of the Hurricanes Poua page that are clear vandalism. Is there a way to protect the page for a while against these editors? Like restricting who can edit the page? I'm not sure what else to do to stop this. Ruggalicious (talk) 09:50, 9 March 2024 (UTC)

Hi @Ruggalicious: thanks for your message. Yes, semi-protection can be requested for that reason, see WP:RFPP for how to request, and WP:SEMI for the policy itself. I think right now it's fine but if they come back then it might be time to put in a request. Have a good evening! B732 (talk) 10:16, 9 March 2024 (UTC)
