Damone

[edit]

Please discuss the release date on the relevant article talk page before changing. All citations I find say December of 2008 for the release of Roll the Dice. Are you User:24.34.72.221? -Phoenixrod (talk) 03:33, 11 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Did you actually read my edit summary here? You are changing the band members' links to point to people who either don't have articles or are the wrong links, and simultaneously changing the valid link to Noelle LeBlanc to a disambiguation page. Please stop. -Phoenixrod (talk) 03:42, 11 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You have to respond for dialogue to take place

[edit]

Okay, here's my last attempt at an olive branch. I have tried contacting you here on your talk page, on the article talk page Talk:Damone (band) ([1] [2] [3]), and through various edit summaries (such as [4] and [5]).

While you have used a few edit summaries, which is a good start, you haven't engaged in dialogue or addressed the concerns I have raised. That is why I reverted some of your edits (the others removed content or re-introduced errors). Furthermore, you have tried blanking the article's talk page ([6] [7] [8]), thereby removing my attempts to discuss the article.

User:24.34.72.221 was doing the same edits you are and was blocked for vandalism. Since you started shortly editing before that contributor was blocked, it's hard not to think you may be the same user, editing around a block. If you continue to remove talk page discussion and introduce bad information to the article Damone, I expect you'll be blocked as well. (Note that I'm documenting the issue in this post so an admin can save time in the event of a block.)

Everything would be much easier if you would just address the concerns I've raised instead of ignoring them. Start by explaining your edits on Talk:Damone (band), replying to my concerns, and building a consensus for changes. -Phoenixrod (talk) 02:03, 12 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You have been temporarily blocked from editing for persistent talk-page vandalism and other unconstuctive editing. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make constructive contributions. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal the block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|Your reason here}}, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first.
