Repeal the Second Amendment moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Repeal the Second Amendment, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Sungodtemple (talkcontribs) 20:35, 3 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The only sources cited are those by the author of the book and are not independent of the subject, so notability is not established. The prose of the article presents an opinion as fact, that the Second Amendment was abused by the NRA. Please change this to say "Lichtman argues" or something like that, to present the opinion as an opinion. Lastly, Wikipedia is not a place for activism, if you are trying to do that. Information icon Hello, I'm JimRenge. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Islam in the United States, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Please see WP:BURDEN. JimRenge (talk) 19:58, 10 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not use styles that are nonstandard, unusual, inappropriate or difficult to understand in articles, as you did in Emmanuelle Chriqui. There is a Manual of Style, and edits should not deliberately go against it without special reason. Thank you. Thedarkknightli (talk) 10:27, 28 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Moroccan Americans, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Moroccan. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:05, 17 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
