Information icon Hello, I'm Malik Shabazz. I wanted to let you know that I removed one or more external links you added to the page Pension, because they seemed to be inappropriate for an encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page, or take a look at our guidelines about links. List of Highest grossing Indian films[edit]

Please put your comment supporting telugu language. here

I started a discussion at ANI. The talk page won't work so we need to get Ricky banned and then we can fix all that Tamil nonsense. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 166.171.122.101 (talk) 07:34, 7 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

These two edits were disruptive since you are clearly aware that their is an ongoing RFC on that topic. If you (or others) continue in this vein, I will need to issue blocks or topic bans, since the only other way to deal with such disruption/edit-warring is to fully-protect the article, which prevent even non-controversial improvement from being made. So please don't repeat such edits till the RFC is closed and the issue decided. Abecedare (talk) 19:14, 15 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent editing history shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you get reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. Stop removing reliably sourced content that is under discussion on the talk page. -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 19:23, 15 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Sockpuppet investigation[edit]

Hi. An editor has opened an investigation into sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Wikipedia account in a manner that contravenes community policy. The investigation is being held at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Bhuvannalla, where the editor who opened the investigation has presented their evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, and then feel free to offer your own evidence or to submit comments that you wish to be considered by the Wikipedia administrator who decides the result of the investigation. If you have been using multiple accounts (in a manner contrary to Wikipedia policy), please go to the investigation page and verify that now. Leniency is usually shown to those who promise not to do so again, or who did so unwittingly, but the abuse of multiple accounts is taken very seriously by the Wikipedia community.

You have been blocked from editing for a period of two weeks for sock puppetry. Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but using them for illegitimate reasons is not, and that any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by first reading the guide to appealing blocks, then adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Bbb23 (talk) 07:42, 26 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Edit-warring[edit]

Just like I admonished Plutonium at Talk:List of highest-grossing Indian films, your edit here I absolutely consider edit-warring. There's no harm in leaving the other version until the discussion is resolved. One of you has to demonstrate some adult behavior here, and divorcing yourself of whatever emotional attachment you have to the wording is crucial here. Plutonium at least had the courtesy to open a discussion, which you should/could have done as well. To say that there's nothing to discuss suggests to me that you don't care about the outcome. If you don't, leave Plutonium's change alone. Or, if you do care, (and it seems you do), please participate in civil discussion and arrive at a solution or compromise. The edit-warring needs to stop and you're about a freckle away from being blocked for it. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 19:21, 16 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for March 17[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited List of most expensive Indian films, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Telugu. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 10:11, 17 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The dubbed version collection is included in that language category. First get boxoffice knowledge otherwise you will be blocked for edit warring--Rashkeqamar (talk) 10:56, 4 May 2017 (UTC) There is no need of giving explanation. I follow what Wikipedia follows.[reply]

stop it[edit]

in terms of films produced yearly

this is the break down provided by CBFC india for films released in 2016

Hindi 340 (digital) and 0 (celluloid), total of 340 Tamil 291 (digital) and 0 (celluloid), total of 291 Telugu 275 (digital) and 0 (celluloid), total of 275

please stop writing after hindi film industry for 100000 times.Uthprerakam (talk) 07:22, 31 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Size of the film industry does not depend only on the number of films released every year. The numbers change every year. Sometimes, Telugu industry will produce maximum numbers, sometimes Tamil and sometimes Hindi. It is one of the factor to determine the size. The revenues in terms of gross and share, number of screens, global reach, etc will determine the size of an industry. If someone accepts or not, Hindi film industry is at top position followed by Telugu. So, there is nothing wrong with the wordings I have mentioned in the article.

August 2019[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Fylindfotberserk. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to Saaho seemed less than neutral and has been removed. If you think this was a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Open up a discussion at WP:ICTF. As far as I know, one was opened up but no consensus has been reached Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Film/Indian_cinema_task_force/Archive_5#How_to_order_languages_in_infoboxes_and_elsewhere Fylindfotberserk (talk) 12:36, 12 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent editing history at Saaho shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See the bold, revert, discuss cycle for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. You have been blocked from editing for a period of 31 hours for edit warring, as you did at Saaho. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  – bradv🍁 15:46, 12 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
