[edit]This is your only warning; if you violate Wikipedia's biographies of living persons policy by inserting unsourced or poorly sourced defamatory content into an article or any other Wikipedia page again, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Your recent edits could give Wikipedia contributors the impression that you may consider legal or other "off-wiki" action against them, or against Wikipedia itself. Please note that making such threats on Wikipedia is strictly prohibited under Wikipedia's policies on legal threats and civility. Users who make such threats may be blocked. If you have a dispute with the content of any page on Wikipedia, please follow the proper channels for dispute resolution. Please be sure to comment on content, not contributors, and where possible make specific suggestions for changes supported by reliable independent sources and focusing especially on verifiable errors of fact. Thank you. Jim1138 (talk) 09:11, 10 April 2014 (UTC)
Please can someone advise me on the best approach. I understand my page is protected by a Murray , If he insists on protecting the page and therefore controlling the content then surely it must be factually correct and current.??, I've just been threatened by him that I will be barred if I insert poorly researched or defamatory content, when indeed that is what HE is doing. I am merely trying to update my personal information because as it stands it is causing great personal upset and professional confusion whenever I do any press. PLEASE PLEASE can someone advise me on the best course of action. Many thanks, Eva Birthistle
Getting help
[edit]Understand that it is very difficult to properly identify you.
I added a welcome section above for your reference.
To make significant changes, a reliable source (RS) generally must be cited. If there is a blatant, defamatory content, you should post a notice on WP:BLPN. You will need to supply RS to show that the existing information is a problem. If you want another photo than the one shown, you can upload a photo here: commons:main page, specifically, commons:Special:UploadWizard. Then you can replace it or request that it be replaced. As Wikipedia discurages writing an wp:autobiography, you should use wp:edit requests. You can always request help at wp:teahouse. Hope this helps! Jim1138 (talk) 09:57, 10 April 2014 (UTC)
