- Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing. However, unconstructive edits, such as those you made to Dora the Explorer, are considered vandalism. If you continue in this manner you may be blocked from editing without further warning. Please stop, and consider improving rather than damaging the hard work of others. Thanks. Can't sleep, clown will eat me 18:04, 3 April 2006 (UTC)

Message from Community Justice
[edit]It is important to keep a cool head, especially when responding to comments against you or your edits. Personal attacks and disruptive comments only escalate a situation; please keep calm and remember that action can be taken against other parties if necessary. Attacking another user back can only satisfy trolls or anger contributors and leads to general bad feeling. Please try to remain civil with your comments. Thanks! Mahogany
Vandalism / sock puppetry
[edit]You left a message on my talk page out of the blue even though I had never interacted with you before. You said you had been blocked because someone used your account for vandalism. Yet you had never been blocked. I found that I had warned Martin Van Buren (talk • contribs) about vandalism and that he had subsequently been blocked. That's where the suspicion of sock puppetry came from (a user isn't allowed to create a second account to get around being blocked).
Also note that you are responsible for the security of your account, just as in every area on computing. You are responsible for any edits made using that account. Use a secure password, don't leave it unattended, and log off when you've finished.
If you think you know who is misusing your account, does he have a Wikipedia username? If so, why not let someone know, instead of referring to this person using expletives. If he isn't a user, how can he be blocked (other than blocking your account)?
Finally, I'm not an administrator, so can't take any action. Please report any problems to the relevant subpage of Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard. JRawle (Talk) 23:16, 8 May 2006 (UTC)
