Hi Brookie... I too am curious why MinSheng Bank was deleted. The bank seems to be real, even if operating under a slightly different name... [4][5][6] Your edit summary didn't really explain why it was deleted in the first place, so I'm a bit clueless on how to help this user. On October 23, 2006, you deleted DJ Webstar as a CSD A7-repost. For nearly a month and a half, the article was constantly being re-deleted under CSD recreation criteria and it was eventually recreation-protected by Can't sleep, clown will eat me. I just want to let you know that there was an AfD for this article, and I closed it on October 19, 2006 after a consensus of "Speedy Keep" was reached (see Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/DJ Webstar). I'm guessing you missed this AfD or something, and that's why you deleted the article, so that's why I came here just to let you know. Nishkid64 23:02, 8 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Rich - any article must establish the notability of its subject - A7 is a seedy deletion criteria for an article that doesn't do that. Talkaudio Deletion

[edit]

Hello, thanks for your comments on my Talk page. I saw that you deleted the "Talkaudio" Wikipedia page, and believe that the page does have a right to exist. There was a "Notability" tag on the article which I removed as I believe I had established Notability in the article, was this a mistake?

In summary, reasons for noteability:-

- Coverage by "The Telegraph" in November 2004 (UK National newspaper article)
- Coverage by "Total Car Audio" (UK Car Audio magazine with national distribution
- Coverage of several members vehicles by "Fast Car Magazine" including references to Talkadio
- Coverage of several members vehicles by "Max Power Magazine" including references to Talkadio

These are all independent periodical publications.

I would appreciate it if the article could be re-instated, and welcome your help, comments and suggestions for the page.

Cheers --BladeUK 16:24, 11 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there - I'm afraid it still read like a fanzine push rather than an article for an encyclopedia - is the 500th most important forum realy that notable? Try looking at articles for some similar type fora and see how they are worded etc - and then see if the article can be improved and made to read less like an advert! I heard the interview this morning, I am inclined to agree with this opinion (in fact, I'm inclined to be less charitable). That being said, it seems a little non-neutral without references. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 62.245.36.189 (talk) 19:03, 19 December 2006 (UTC).[reply]

Hey Brookie - thanks for getting involved with the Butler article. I added the original public drunkenness stuff. I've made a few more amendments.
