Hahn Air Base

[edit]

Hi Bwmoll3, I like the work you did in splitting up Hahn Air Base and Frankfurt-Hahn airport. That's so much better now. Thanks for your work. Cheers, MikeZ 11:15, 8 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Coordinates

[edit]

Just wanted to let you know that I removed the coordinates from, London Stansted Airport, Earls Colne Airfield and Toul-Rosières Air Base as they are already in the infobox. Also they are not required in that format to be listed in Google Earth. If you look at Cambridge Bay Airport, which has never had the coor title template you can see the article is in Google Earth. Cheers. CambridgeBayWeather (Talk) 06:49, 19 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Chalgrove Airfield

[edit]

Good job on the contributions to Chalgrove Airfield, but please try to insert relevant wikilinks rather than just a big dump of text.--Cheesy Mike 19:57, 30 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Just letting you know I've noticed a problem with your initial content here. --Mark Hurd 01:21, 18 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

USAFE Bases

[edit]

Thanks for the info on RAF Spanhoe... as I'm looking at these bases, not sure I should even include them on the infobox. Regardless... I'm PCSing from England in August to Germany... hopefully I can help more on the German bases when I get there. Jazznutuva 12:45, 23 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Placement of GBthumb template

[edit]

You may have noticed that I have moved some of the GBthumb templates that you have placed on RAF station pages. The maps look much better at the top of the page rather than in the "See also" section. Where there is a photo at the top of the page I would recommend placing the map immediately underneath it. --Cheesy Mike 07:59, 30 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Tempelhof

[edit]

What does the text you have restored have to do with Tempelhof? Nothing that I can see. Intelligent Mr Toad 10:24, 29 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please use inline references when adding material so that the source for the statements can be verified. These are inserted at the end of the material that is derived from the specific source. You can also use one of the cite templates to format the material correctly. You can read Wikipedia:Inline citation or Wikipedia:Citing sources. BTW, thanks for the additions. • Thanks, looks good. I did change some to use the name tag on the ref tag so that you don't need to repeat the cite information on each citation. Easer to cut and past. It also lists all references to one item in a single line in the references section. Vegaswikian 02:17, 15 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Apology!

[edit]

Sorry for editing Yokota Air Base while you were working on it. Now that I know you're actively editing it, I'll stay away while you work. Best regards Fg2 03:36, 22 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

RE: USAF Bases in the UK

[edit]

Thanks for the information... I've added all I thought needed to be added. Let me know if you see any more you deem worthy. I might go back and update the template similar how I did my University's one... see {{University of Virginia}} for an idea how it will look. I also reworded the topics to better reflect some are still active bases... just without USAF components any longer. Jazznutuva 11:02, 26 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I don't know how to edit this template, and I saw that you created it.

You may wish to add the SAC bases from the 1940s and 1950s that I've listed on Strategic Air Command in the United Kingdom

Strategic Air Command in the United Kingdom

[edit]

Hi Bwmoll3. You are off to such a great start on the article Strategic Air Command in the United Kingdom that it may qualify to appear on Wikipedia's Main Page under the Did you know... section. The Main Page gets about 4,000,000 hits per day and appearing on the Main Page may help bring publicity and assistance to the article. However, there is a five day from article creation window for Did you know... nominations. Before five days pass from the date the article was created and if you haven't already done so, please consider nominating the article to appear on the Main Page by posting a nomination at Did you know suggestions. If you do nominate the article for DYK, please cross out the article name on the "Good" articles proposed by bot list. Also, don't forget to keep checking back at Did you know suggestions for comments regarding your nomination. Again, great job on the article. -- Jreferee (Talk) 14:06, 27 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Langar

[edit]

Hi. Good job you've done on RAF Langar. Just wondering why you reverted back to the small image. On my computer at my normal resolution of 1024x768 it's barely the size of a postage stamp.BC (talk) 16:34, 29 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

You may wish to check your preferences and look at the default size for thumbnails. I've taken off hard image sizes and using the default 'thumb' size, to whatever the user has set in their preferences.Thank you for your comment as well. It is appreciated :) Bwmoll3 (talk) 19:23, 29 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Good idea. I'm learning new things about WP everyday! Regards. BC (talk) 20:05, 29 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
