Hi - I am a single user. I added to my user page an explanation of my username, and I can say more here. I picked it because it was the nickname of the bar my husband and I used to go to in San Francisco. The initials of the bar were the same as the music club in new york from the 1970s. He likes music; it was a fun way to remember our place. It was called Clement Street Bar and Grill. Hopefully that clears it up and I can keep this username. Do you represent Geoffrey Cohen? "Comm" suggests that you work in communications. 331dot (talk) 21:49, 28 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi - You're correct. I work in communications at Stanford. I do not represent professors but I do represent the school. I understand if that is considered a potential bias and I'm happy to make that transparent. I saw the directions for conflicts of interest and wasn't sure if it applied since I don't get paid by Prof. Cohen but if it's misleading that's understandable. What can I do to remedy? CBGBcomm (talk) 22:09, 28 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for your answer. You are submitting drafts which is the right thing to be doing. Please review the conflict of interest and paid editing policies for information on formal disclosures you may need to make. (Note that "paid editor" refers to any compensatory relationship, you don't have to be specifically paid to edit) 331dot (talk) 22:38, 28 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your help and guidance. I appreciate it. This is my first (obviously!) try at Wikipedia. Many of our professors have pages and we're trying to keep the information updated and accurate. I'm impressed at the thoroughness, frankly. We do a lot of research on reliable sources. So this is encouraging! I hope that my missteps won't jeopardize the article being published once ducks are in a row. CBGBcomm (talk) 01:01, 30 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
