A tag has been placed on User:CJLiveCity/sandbox, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Your username

[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. I saw that you edited or created User:CJLiveCity/sandbox, and I noticed that your username, "CJLiveCity", may not comply with our username policy. Please note that you may not use a username that represents the name of a company, group, organization, product, service, or website. Examples of usernames that are not allowed include "XYZ Company", "MyWidgetsUSA.com", and "Foobar Museum of Art". However, you are permitted to use a username that contains such a name if it identifies you individually (not your role), such as "Sara Smith at XYZ Company", "Mark at WidgetsUSA", or "FoobarFan87", but not "SEO Manager at XYZ Company".

Please also note that Wikipedia does not allow accounts to be shared by multiple people and that you may not advocate for or promote any company, group, organization, product, service, or website, regardless of your username. Please also read our paid editing policy and our conflict of interest guideline. If you are a single individual and are willing to contribute to Wikipedia in an unbiased manner, please request a change of username by completing the form at Special:GlobalRenameRequest, choosing a username that complies with our username policy. Alternatively, you can just create a new account and use that for editing. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. Thank you. [edit]
Your account has been indefinitely blocked from editing because your account has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia. Also, your username indicates that the account represents a business, organisation, group, or web site, which is against the username policy.

If you intend to make useful contributions instead of promoting your business or organization, you may request unblock and a username change. In your reasons, you must:

  • Disclose any compensation you may receive for your contributions in accordance with the paid-contribution disclosure requirement.
  • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked.
  • Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
  • Provide a new username.

To do this, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with your new username and replace the text "Your reason here" with your reasons to be unblocked.

Please note that the new username you choose cannot already be taken and in use by another account. You can go here to search and see if the username you'd like to choose is available. If the search returns that no global account with that username exists, that means it is available to be taken.

Appeals: If, after reviewing the guide to appealing blocks, you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal it by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your reason here" with the reasons you believe the block was an error, and publish the page. Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 07:56, 5 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Requested username:

Request reason:

I am writing to request the unblocking of my Wikipedia account so that I can resume editing with a commitment to providing in-depth, reliable, secondary, and strictly independent sources in accordance with Wikipedia's content guidelines.

Understanding of Block Reason: I fully comprehend the reason for my account block, which was primarily due to the insufficiency of in-depth, reliable, secondary, and independent sources in the draft I submitted. I acknowledge the importance of these criteria in maintaining the quality and credibility of Wikipedia content.

Commitment to Improvement: I assure Wikipedia that I will not repeat the kind of edits that led to my block. I am committed to adhering to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, particularly those related to neutrality and verifiability.

Intended Contributions: Upon unblocking, I intend to entirely revise and improve the draft for CJ LiveCity by diligently researching and adding well-sourced, encyclopedic information. I will ensure that the content is balanced, neutral, and strictly based on secondary sources independent of the subject.

Username Change: I also acknowledge the issue with my current username, 'CJLiveCity,' not complying with Wikipedia's username policy. I am going to change my username to one that aligns with Wikipedia's guidelines.

Disclosure of Compensation: As per Wikipedia's paid-contribution disclosure requirement, I will transparently disclose any compensation received for my contributions, ensuring full compliance with Wikipedia's policies.

I request that my account be unblocked to allow me to make valuable and constructive contributions to Wikipedia. These contributions will focus on improving the draft for CJ LiveCity and any other relevant topics while strictly adhering to Wikipedia's guidelines for quality and reliability.

Decline reason:

I get the sense that you used either a translator program or AI to help you write this request. If your English skills are insufficient to communicate with us without using a translator, you may wish to edit the version of Wikipedia that is in your primary language(Korean, I think?). If you used an AI, please don't. We want to hear from you, not an AI. Regarding the block itself, we will first want to see an edit history of edits in other areas unrelated to your conflict of interest, to demonstrate your understanding of relevant policies, before permitting you to indirectly contribute about your company. If you are interested in editing in other areas, please tell what those might be. If your only goal here is to edit about CJ Live City, this is the end of the road. I am declining your request. 331dot (talk) 09:11, 7 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
