The Hate U Give

Hi! I'm Barkeep49 and I wanted to join in welcoming you to Wikipedia. I hope you've found your work here as part of your college course to be valuable. I see that you recently indicated that you plan to work on The Hate U Give. At the moment the book's article is rated as a good article, something true of 0.5% of articles, which means that it has gone through a formal review process for a number of criteria including its writing and its broadness. As I've indicated to Ian (Wiki Ed) this may make it a harder article to contribute to than the typical article. I see in your sandbox that you had outlined a couple areas of possible work in the article. The two places that the article is currently underdeveloped are that it has a missing Themes section and the Style section could potentially be longer. You can see more about these kinds of sections here. Alternatively there are lots of books whose articles are much less developed and might offer you a lot more opportunity to easily expand - for instance Angie Thomas' second book On the Come Up is a three sentence stub.
