- Respect copyrights – do not copy and paste text or images directly from other websites.
- Maintain a neutral point of view – this is one of Wikipedia's core policies.
- Take particular care while adding biographical material about a living person to any Wikipedia page and follow Wikipedia's Biography of Living Persons policy. Particularly, controversial and negative statements should be referenced with multiple reliable sources.
- No edit warring or sock puppetry.
- If you are testing, please use the Sandbox to do so.
- Do not add troublesome content to any article, such as: copyrighted text, libel, advertising or promotional messages, and text that is not related to an article's subject. Deliberately adding such content or otherwise editing articles maliciously is considered vandalism; doing so will result in your account or IP being blocked from editing.
- Do not use talk pages as discussion or forum pages as Wikipedia is not a forum.
The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome!
Hi there, I noticed your username and thought it might be worthwhile to make you aware of Wikipedia's policy regarding conflicts of interest. If you are in any way associated with Cardiff City FC in an official capacity, you should probably declare that on your userpage, as well as steering clear of editing Bluebirds articles too heavily. If you are not associated with the club, it would probably be best if you declared that too, just in case people take your edits the wrong way. Other than that, welcome on board and I hope you enjoy editing articles here. – PeeJay 15:29, 22 June 2012 (UTC)
- Just changed my profile so take a look if you can, thanks for the message PJ. - Cardiffcityfootballclub 19:41, 22 June 2012 (UTC)
- Excellent. Probably went a little over-the-top with the disclaimer, but too much transparency is better than none at all! Haha! – PeeJay 19:56, 22 June 2012 (UTC)

Stats
[edit]Hi, I'm just curious, what's the deal with your edit summaries containing this text? Wouldn't "updating stats" or something like that suffice? Cheers, Mattythewhite (talk) 20:47, 2 September 2012 (UTC).
Career stats tables
[edit]Hello. When you update career stats tables headed As of match played, as at Jordon Mutch#Career statistics, please would you update it with the date of the last match included in the stats, to fit the wording of that heading, rather than the date you changed the figures. thanks, Struway2 (talk) 17:02, 7 April 2013 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for May 5
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited 2013–14 Football League One, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page London Road (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Premier League wikilink
[edit]Hi, just so you know the correct wikilink is just [[Premier League]], rather than [[Barclays Premier League|Premier League]]. Cheers, Mattythewhite (talk) 13:04, 16 August 2013 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment.
