Speedy deletion nomination of User:Carfax Education/sandbox[edit]

Please note, I am not receiving any compensation for the article contribution. I would greatly appreciate some guidance on the reason for the block and which areas of the article should be edited. Decline reason:

I'm not certain your username is individualistic enough. We don't really draw a distinction here between "employee" and "independent contractor/consultant". If you are compensated by Carfax directly or indirectly, it counts as paid editing under our rules. Even leaving that aspect aside, you still have a conflict of interest to disclose. We're going to want to see some edits in other areas before permitting you to indirectly contribute about Carfax Education; if you're interested in being a more general contributor, please tell what other topics you might edit about. 331dot (talk) 09:53, 17 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

It's unnecessary to make further unblock requests(in which you are still leaving the coding in place to suppress them), as you have an open request. Please respond to my question by placing a new, unformatted statement below this one. I am a new user of Wikipedia, thank you for your guidance. I was a contributor to the schools index, which is led by carfax education. The index is an impartial guide for families, when researching private schools for their children. So you are employed by Carfax Education to work on their Index? The preferred term for encyclopedia content is articles, not the broader "pages". Wikipedia articles are not a place for organization to tell the world about themselves and what they do- it is a place to summarize what independent reliable sources with significant coverage have chosen on their own to say about the organization, showing how it meets the special Wikipedia definition of a notable organization. Put another way, Wikipedia is interested in what others say about this organization and what makes it important/significant/influential, not what it considers to be significant about itself. 331dot (talk) 09:20, 17 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
