removal of sourced material
[edit]I draw your attention to Talk:John Hervey, 7th Marquess of Bristol. Please do not remove sourced, verifiable material simply because you assert it is untrue. BrainyBabe (talk) 07:01, 19 March 2009 (UTC)
- I hope you see this, and decide to explain your edits about John Hervey, 7th Marquess of Bristol on his talkpage. Please do not add unsourced material to a sentence, making it appear that the reference covers the assertion you interpolated. This is weaselly and unscholarly, and does not help the encyclopedia project. BrainyBabe (talk) 00:04, 26 March 2009 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. This is just a note to let you know that I've moved the draft that you were working on to Draft:Hereditary High Steward of the Liberty of St Edmund, from its old location at User:Carr1/Hereditary High Steward of the Liberty of St Edmund. This has been done because the Draft namespace is the preferred location for Articles for Creation submissions. Please feel free to continue to work on it there. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to ask me on my talk page. Thank you. Jupitus Smart 10:36, 29 July 2017 (UTC)

[edit] Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from West Suffolk into another page. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution
. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. The attribution has been provided for this situation, but if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, please provide attribution for that duplication. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 10:17, 6 August 2017 (UTC)
