Photo upgrade (Not an Upgrade)[edit]

Hiya: As part of the processes of Wikimedia Commons, various pictures are nominated for deletion. Such it was with File:Portrait of Dragut - The Drawn Sword of Islam.jpg. The practice is to replace the one which will be deleted with the one which is larger, cleaner and has an actual source! Thus the edit was made which you reverted. While you may not share the opinions of the Commons community, it's likely that the one you don't like will be the one which remains. Cheers! Ellin Beltz (talk) 16:43, 12 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The photo that you are trying to delete existed for months as an alternate version of the existing Turgut_Reis_Admiral.JPG I only separated it into its own file. You do not have the right draw foregone conclusions about "which" image you favor. The community has already decided that the one I have uploaded is preferred. --Cdfi (talk) 00:08, 13 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Dragut[edit]

After dealing with so many Turkish vandalist users, I could not figure out if you were one of them or not, I owe you an apology, I would like to join your team, kind regards Redman19 (talk) 06:57, 1 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Redman19 I understand, and I think that oil painting of Dragut you added is beautiful. Very happy to have it somewhere in the article provided the licensing allows for it. We actually had a big issue at the beginning of this year about the infobox picture being deleted due to licensing and it was finally resolved by placing the image of the statue up which most agreed to. Very happy to find other interested editors who want the best for the article. Welcome aboard and do let me know if you need anything. Regards, --Cdfi (talk) 07:04, 1 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

ANI Experiences survey[edit]

Beginning on November 28, 2017, the Wikimedia Foundation Community health initiative (Safety and Support and Anti-Harassment Tools team) will be conducting a survey to en.wikipedia contributors on their experience and satisfaction level with the Administrator’s Noticeboard/Incidents. This survey will be integral to gathering information about how this noticeboard works - which problems it deals with well, and which problems it struggles with.

The survey should take 10-20 minutes to answer, and your individual responses will not be made public. The survey is delivered through Google Forms. The privacy policy for the survey describes how and when Wikimedia collects, uses, and shares the information we receive from survey participants and can be found here:

If you would like to take this survey, please sign up on this page, and a link for the survey will be mailed to you via Special:Emailuser.

Thank you on behalf of the Support & Safety and Anti-Harassment Tools Teams, Patrick Earley (WMF) talk 21:12, 28 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2018 election voter message[edit]

Hello, Cdfi. Voting in the 2018 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 3 December. All users who registered an account before Sunday, 28 October 2018, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Thursday, 1 November 2018 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2018 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 18:42, 19 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Partial block[edit]

I have copied over the partial block from your undisclosed sockpuppet account, Ifdc. Bishonen was the blocking administrator in that case. --Yamla (talk) 15:04, 16 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
